EXCELLENT. This was our first visit to the restaurant, and it didn't dissapoint. It was a Sunday night, so quiet, as we expected. Service was very efficient, and just the right pace. The food was outstanding, and very good value for money. Love the design of not only the restaurant, but all that we saw of the whole AC Marriot hote.

I have eaten dinner here 3 x and it is always delicious and beautifully presented. This time I also stayed overnight in the hotel and had breakfast. I was impressed with their response to me being coeliac. My breakfast was prepared individually in the kitchen to avoid any issues around cross-contamination, and brought out to my table. Again it was beautifully presented and all in all the staff were delightful and helpful. I only took off one star for the food, because my glass of red wine ordered with dinner tasted not quite "right" (and I have rarely met a glass of red I did not like!) but it was immediately replaced with a different and very pleasant wine, with no fuss. And they do mix a very nice Aperol spritz!

Lovely setting and menu options were good . Portions sizes also very good . I did feel the beef pasta dish was slightly overpriced and it did arrive cool to the table . I would definitely go back though as all in all it was lovely .

This was the worst food we had in Scotland by far. Truly abysmal especially given the price point. The king prawn appetizer was 11 pounds 50 for 5 TINY ITTY BITTY shrimp lined up on a plate and overcooked to the point of rubber. It was the definition of daylight robbery. The only reason why we ate was because we had somewhere to be and couldn't risk leaving to find another restaurant but under different circumstances we wouldn't have eaten this food.

3 of us, retired old colleagues and friends, had a pleasantly relaxed light lunch. We liked the bright open space near big windows, and the relatively low level of music meant we could chat and hear each other. The food choices were excellent for us, and service was friendly and unhurried.

Food and service was good and I was able to have a dessert at lunch which isn’t usually offered. However, the restaurant was quite cold, which made it a little uncomfortable. Overall would recommend.
