Aburi refers to the technique of torching fish, enhancing its flavor by lightly searing it. This process not only brings out the fish's taste but also benefits from the use of premium Japanese white oak charcoal, imparting a subtle smokiness & effectively filtering out torch-related gases. Aburi involves a gentle searing, leaving the fish partially cooked.

Hailing from Houston, a city renowned for its cultural diversity, our restaurant draws inspiration from this multicultural hub. Despite our Japanese name, our culinary concept transcends borders, aiming to showcase a medley of global cuisines, mirroring the diverse food scene of Houston.

Fresh fish is flown in directly from Tsukiji Market, Japan.

I enjoyed a different selection from the lunch menu. I had the teriyaki chicken with tempura vegetables and rice, plus a salad. And I might’ve had a lychee martini.😝

Our food was amazing. The Yellow tail collar was exquisite!!! You can never go wrong with the Crudo’s… As well Enjoy the amazing food and staff and owners normally on site…

The worst sushi restaurant I have ever been to. Some aburi nigiris were fishy, had a smell. It did not taste fresh. Sauces made for each nigiri didn’t go well together. Only good thing was the bread pudding dessert. Our server messed up our tab and the food was not reasonably priced. Spicy polomas we ordered tasted like mocktails. Did not taste any liquor
