                                      It was awesome! Our server, Bonnie, was friendly and knowledgeable. The beef Wellington was cooked to perfection and the wines and cocktails… so good. All 4of us were very pleased with the whole experience.

                                      Phenomenal, lovely farm to table experience. Every bite was delicious and we are so happy to have found this little gem of a spot just outside of the Ottawa downtown area.

                                      We introduced guests to our favourite restaurant and they went home happy!. Excellent steak frites, prepared exactly as prescribed. Generous servings of fresh salad and soup to start, with creme brule to finish. Never disappointed!

                                      This was an outstanding lunch! It is definitely one of my top 3 restaurants in Ottawa and I had not gone in years but after yesterday, will definitely be going more! We went to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary! The lunch menu special was fantastic and the mousse dessert, we could just not get enough. A lot of care is put into the ingredients used and marrying them together for the perfect taste and texture - overall, 10/10 recommend this place. Great lunch ambience too - not too quiet and not too loud and the music is fantastic as well. Will definitely be back!

                                      Went with friends for the first time in early June 2024. Food was wonderful, although one person at our table said their main entré was over-salted. Everything else was delicious. Lovely wine list as well. We will be back!

                                      The restaurant isn't a French bistro but closely inspired by the formula. Serving italian focaccia with oil & balsamic dip is delicious, but a strange departure from what is otherwise a very French menu. I had a delicious mushroom velouté seasoned with herb oil and crème fraîche. The steak frites featured meat of excellent flavour and quality and delicious frites; however, the horseradish aioli lacked flavour. Ending the 3-course meal was an excellent crème brûlé. The downside with this restaurant is the high price. Diners might find better value for money for similar caliber fare across the river on the Quebec side, but if dining in the upscale district of Hintonburg/Westboro is your convenience, then I'd recommend Absinthe.
