For a Tuesday night the ambiance was lovely quiet. The service was perfect for our groups of six . The Italien wine was delicious and the food also but some comments came out as a little bit too salty also not enough warm vege. The Wellington beef was marvellous delicious. Thanks to our servers.

We were there for a birthday celebration. The menu options are great including a table d’hôte and the portions are healthy. Service was great too.

I really enjoyed the food and the service was great. I have always had a good experience when dining at the restaurant, the atmosphere is hip and modern, the staff are friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate in recommending Absinthe to my friends and colleagues.

Great neighbourhood restaurant with well prepared food at reasonable prices. Also some nice Table D'Hote options for an individual or the table. First class service!

We had the 4-course fixed-price menu and it was delicious and probably more than enough for two. The staff were curious and not overbearing, giving us lots of time between courses without being slow or inattentive.

Our experience with the dining room was quite pleasant and our server was amazing. In my opinion the ding room is looking a bit tired. The dining room, for a Friday, was quite empty - at the most there were 16 people in attendance and I wonder if this is a result of the problem we encountered which threatened to spoil our celebratory dinner - PARKING OR RATHER LACK OF! My husband dropped me off and went on to park the car. The parking lot (small) for Absinthe was full ( were these all Absinthe clientele?) and it took my husband 30 minutes at least to finally find an on street parking space 7 blocks away from the restaurant. We won't go back because of this and if you do go I would strongly suggest you take a cab, uber, have someone drop you off, or take public transpo. I had just begun to worry that my husband had met with an accident when he finally arrived. Lack of adequate parking is unacceptable.

Sauce overpowered duck Advertised gluten-free menu. No such thing and limited choices. Desserts, overly sweet Server was not attentive

Our experience was amazing! From the salad, made with the chef's own grown tomatoes, the fish and crab cakes and shrimp, to the beef wellington and vegetables cooked to perfection. Our server Olivia was attentive, energetic and just amazing. We will be back. This was the best restaurant experience we've ever had.

Excellent food - fresh ingredients, all of it delicious. The in-house focaccia was amazing, my vichyssoise was refreshing, the aged steak was tender and flavourful and my crème brûlée was to die for. Our server, Bonnie, was super friendly and very helpful. Will definitely return.
