We found the service lacked attention and continuity from the server and the kitchen. Some dishes were very substantial and yet the smelts looked like a half order. We waited too long for one of the mains to arrive while our food got cold. We ordered cocktails which didn’t arrive until after appetizers had already arrived. Wrong order. In the end we didn’t want coffee or desert, we just wanted it to be over. The reviews didn’t match our experience.

We had the scallops and burrata for starters which were fair, followed by lamb chops that were poorly grilled and very chewy. Hence we didn’t order any dessert as we were sceptical. Also, the reservation required a credit card and was chargeable at $20.00 per person if cancelled. This was the second time we have been to a restaurant that required a credit card as deposit and both times it was a major disappointment. Would not recommend it to anyone as there are many other places in town that are less expensive with better quality food.

For clarification, the $20 per person fee isn't a deposit for the reservation, the card is securely held on Opentable and charged $20.00 per person, should you cancel last minute or no show the reservation entirely. The service was excellent, the food was flawless. Our table of 4 guests sampled many dishes off the menu and they were all executed perfectly. The Ravioli was pillowly soft. and the Sea Bream and Whole Red snapper entrees were boned served completely boneless and with a crispy skin. Cooked perfectly. Sharing plates were all delicious - no misses. We were there on a Wednesday night and it was quite busy making the room very loud, one downside it was hard to hear our conversations, but otherwise no complaints!

We had an adult family dinner following the matinee show at the Princess of Wales theatre. The family style servings were great for sharing. Nice round table for 4 was great for catching up. I could also see booking here for a group of girls for dinner!

Loved everything about this place. Food was on point. Decor creates a wonderful atmosphere and service was top knotch. Highly recommend.
