Aboyer (ab-wah-yay), meaning, “to bark,” is a French-American brasserie as imagined by Chef Michael Lachowicz. An American-French restaurant pushing the boundaries of classic cuisine. Pulling from influences all over the world, Aboyer reconfigures classic dishes, but is still firmly planted in classic method and technique, never forgetting where we came from.

Reservations are recommended; walk-ins are welcome. Aboyer requires a credit card to secure all reservations. Please note that reservations cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled booking will incur a $25 per guest cancellation fee & no-shows will be billed at a rate of $50 per guest.

A gem of a restaurant with exceptionally good food and impeccable service. Our server, Alfredo, went out of his way to make our dining experience memorable. We will definitely be going back!

From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted by a welcoming and friendly wait staff. The food is as excellent as always---delicious, well prepared, and plated beautifully! The prices reflect the quality of each dish. This is our third time we've dined at Aboyer and would definitely return. You will dine and be pampered like royalty.

Outstanding service. Beautiful interior. The appetizers are all delicious and highly recommend the wine suggestions paired with the entrees. My favorite place for special dinners in the north suburbs.

We were Aboyer fans until yesterday, having enjoyed several great meals including Thanksgiving ‘23. At Thanksgiving ‘24, food was good but service was horrible. When we sat down, table setup was incomplete:. Had to ask for missing silverware and a water glass. Long gaps between courses. Large family style food platters arrived without serving utensils. Waiter was inattentive. Asked for water refills 3x; never came. Place felt like it was understaffed and chaotic. So unenjoyable, we finally asked for our desserts to go. Aboyer holds itself out as an elegant dining experience. It abjectly failed to deliver last night.

Thanksgiving dinner was excellent!! They had a wonderful family style thanksgiving menu with delicious moist turkey both dark and white meats and a tender pork roast as well Generous and bountiful sides. Please make sure to check this out if you ever want to have a nice shared family thanksgiving without the hassle and long work of cooking. Service was great as well we will be back next year

I have been wanting to go here for a long time. Had Thanksgiving dinner. Everything was amazing! From my cranberry cinnamon gimlet to the amazing truffle at the end. It was served family style and it did not disappoint. The turkey was juicy and the pork cooked just perfectly. The sweet potato gratin was my favorite. I have left overs to enjoy today. The service was friendly and warm. Everyone around us was enjoying themselves and the ambiance delightful. A stellar performance!
