We have the most magical experience since the moment we walked in. We were greeted kindly and brought to lovely seats. It only got better from there. Our waiter was absolutely amazing and the food was the best I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend and I will be back

We were running late because it was snowing and traffic was very heavy. I called to let them know and was told it was fine. When we checked in the manager at the podium said you know you are very late. Yes, I know. I called and was told it was ok. He was rude…. Our server was great. Two of our steaks were very undercooked and needed to be sent back. My husband’s needed to be sent back a second time and was not good after it had been cut up and put back on the grill twice. Overall it was just a mediocre experience. Definitely not what one would expect at a high end steak house. We will not be returning.

Exceptional service from greeting to accommodating with our table request . Server was exceptional checking in often to assure we were enjoying! . Food was cooked and presented perfectly only disappointed was the bread basket .no dark raisin bread offered ..scali doesn’t cut it offer rolls as a replacement..this was our annual visit since the restaurant opened celebrating our anniversary and holiday season ..this was for our 50th !

We made reservations several weeks in advance and were seated at a table near a very noisy bar and the front entrance. It was clearly the worst table in the entire restaurant. We asked twice for a different table and were told both times that there were no other tables available. When the server came by our table, we indicated that we were very unhappy. A few minutes later, we were seated at a much better table in the dining room. The place had very few empty tables and was very, very noisy, which made it difficult to have a conversation during dinner. The food and service were very good. The filet mignon was done perfectly, and the veal chop was very good as well. The clams casino appetizer had good flavor, but the clams were very, very small. The entire meal was on the high end in terms of price vs. value. We will likely not dine here again as there are better options in the back bay.

Unfortunately the bone in filet special was overcooked on the first attempt and raw (cold inside) on the second. The tuna lacked flavor. We have always had a great experience and it’s been our favorite restaurant but this experience was extremely disappointing. We hope it was just an off night

Great food, great service, nice ambience, but extremely noisy couldn’t even hear the people at my own table. A big day and Louis many times I don’t quite remember it being this way in the past, but it was it was not a great experience because of the noise
