always a great experience Adam, our server was attentive and friendly delicious old fashioned Wellfleet oysters-my favorite, super fresh Boneless ribeye-perfect very nice napa cab blend (stag’s leap) tasty au gratin and brussels sprouts Gratis crème brûlée for bday! Come often around this time and am never disappointed

We had an amazing server (name?); he had to deal with our elderly, cantankerous host. It says a lot that you can deal sensitively with a difficult person when the place is so busy. Wagyu beef was perfectly done, as was the French onion soup. Beautifully done, and not too salty which is often the case. One caveat. The noise when the restaurant is full is cacophonous. It would be great if they could do something about that.

Food was good as always but unfortunately the service was severely lacking. Slow, didn’t check in to see how everything was or if we needed anything. Not up to par.

Steak undercooked. Asked for medium, got bright red center throughout. Accompanying lobster had zero taste. Rubbery and bland. We think it was poached, maybe, not sure, but overcooked regardless. Table seating was horrendous. Second floor, right next to the bar. Rowdy crowd, literally could not hear each speak over all the yelling and laughing. Service was excellent, but overall a really poor experience. Seems to be a really popular place, so maybe we were a one off. Either way, too many other options in Boston. Won’t be coming back, at least not for dinner.
