Food and service was outstanding. We had the 16oz ribeye it melted like butter. Their service was very attentive to our needs.

We love good steakhouse restaurants and this was maybe the second time we ate at Abe & Louie's - Boca Raton, but I would put this meal in the top three of my all-time favorite steak meals (from NY [our home base] to California and many in between). We started with the wedge (large enough to share), which was very flavorful and rich with the lardons and blue cheese. The boneless ribeye, ordered medium, was perfection. The temperature was perfect and the cut of meat was everything a ribeye lover wants and expects. My husband ordered the 12 oz. filet mignon, also medium, and it too was cooked perfectly - not an easy task for such a thick piece of meat. Whipped potatoes and crispy brussels sprouts were ideal sides. A wonderful California cabernet sauvignon accompanied the meal, which we finished for dessert, as there was no room for anything else. Go hungry, you will not be disappointed!

We dined here for my birthday dinner, and while the food was amazing, there were a few issues that took away from the experience. We ordered the French onion soup, wedge salad, boneless ribeye, and baked potato, and everything was cooked to perfection – absolutely fantastic! Our two waiters were great, very attentive and friendly. However, the woman clearing the table was quite rude. She kept addressing me as “hey lady,” which felt very disrespectful. In a fine dining restaurant, a little more courtesy would go a long way. To top it off, a man was walking around the restaurant carrying his dog. When I’ve dressed up for a special night out, the last thing I expect to see is someone with a dog in the restaurant. And trust me, I love dogs—I have four of them—but I would never bring them to dinner at a nice restaurant like this. It was definitely not a service dog, and I was surprised the manager allowed it. Overall, the food was outstanding, but the lack of professionalism from some staff and the presence of a dog inside the restaurant made the evening less enjoyable than it could have been.

Delicious dinner. Was our 52nd wedding anniversary. Our server was wonderful and so attentive. We both decided this was our special occasion restaurant from now on!!!
