We ate the Restaurant Week menu and it was great. It was a little too noisy for us but would definitely recommend for the food and service.

Beautiful, rustic dining room. Lots of energy on a busy Saturday night. Very romantic setting.

Be aware, if you reserve on OpenTable, you're getting a "reservation", not a reservation, even though there is no indication of your second-class status at booking time. When we arrived at the restaurant, the hostess immediately tried to seat us outdoors. It was 85F and humid. I had been careful not to reserve an outdoor table and I told them so. They informed me that "online reservations go into a pool and the dining room is fully committed". They eventually got us seated at a high-top, which was alright, but the bait+switch and the hostess's "you should have known better" attitude put a negative cast over the evening, as there was no indication prior to our arrival that our reservation had second class status. I first visited ABC Kitchen in 2012, and have eaten at JG properties 30+ times over the years. It's disappointing to be made to feel unwelcome. If I need to make a phone call, or pull some strings to get a reservation because a place is in demand that's fine, what's not fine is leading me to believe that I have an actual reservation when all that I really have is "the dining room is full and we'll try our best to find something else when you get here". If I'd known that my reservation was going to be second class I'd have booked someplace else. I'll definitely think twice before continuing to patronize JG properties, which is a shame because I've had so many good experiences at them. Hopefully they will do something in the future to set clear expectations at reservation time instead of waiting until it's too late to break the bad news.

Minor inconvenience with our table, but the manager worked it out, thanks again! Food was amazing.

Food was delicious...but not cheap by any means. $42 for a fried chicken breast entree, $25 for an appetizer salad, $15 or so for a domestic beer. Also, noisy as heck...a strain to hear someone across the table at a table for four.

We had a reservation for noon on a Sunday for Brunch. We were seated and all was well except we did not get our food until 1:30. The manager was kind and comped 1 round of drinks.

Beautiful, creative food. Such an excellent and memorable meal. And your restaurant is so lovely and elegant. Our server was personable and everything was just perfect. Thanks for a great dinner!
