Abattoir Blues is Sydney Olympic Park’s notorious, fully-licensed, boutique diner hidden away in a historic 1900s abattoir building. Capturing the heart and soul of the Park, Abattoir Blues is a restaurant, café and bar experience worth discovering.

We are open for all events in the park, and extend our trading hours to accommodate patrons and punters before a concert, sporting event or whatever reason you are in the park. We are the local's choice dining spot and a hotspot for those visiting the park.

There is also 1 hour parking along Showground Road, adjacent to the Novotel and the Heritage Precinct.
Public transit
We are located at the footstep of Sydney Olympic Park Train Station, as well as a bus stop right in front of our venue. We are building C within the Abattoir Heritage Precinct. We are quite hidden, however there are signs within the heritage precinct that will guide you to our venue.

Good portions and food was tasty. The Arun uni was really good as was the gnocchi. The squid though was tough and doughy. The cocktails were great as was the feel of the restaurant

Went there for pre concert food. Service was quick, food was delicious and the staff were lovely.

Service too slow - should not need to wait 30+ minutes to receive your lunch meal during the work week - this has happened here on more than 1 occasion which is why I am mentioning it. Otherwise a nice venue with nice food, however a bit on the pricey side.

On a very busy day - NRL grand final - the place was buzzing. Great atmosphere, great service, great food!

The restaurant was busy in the evening and when we arrived early, we were shown to our table. Our booking was for 6:30 pm and the restaurant closed at 8pm on Saturday night. Using the QR code, I ordered online at 6:22pm and I was told there was a 25 minutes wait for main meals. Our drinks and entrees arrived quickly and then by 7pm, a waiter noticed we were still waiting for our mains. He checked on it for us and another staff apologised for the delay. Our mains then arrived 40 minutes after we ordered. However the mains were delicious and I'm glad we waited! This is the night before NRL Grand Final and there was a music festival on the same night we dined at the Sydney showgrounds. I didn't mind our meals being delayed as we were told beforehand about the wait. When we left the restaurant at 7:30pm, we were the last customers. I was impressed by Abbatoir Blues!

The Olympic park precinct is full of dodgy, commercial options, and Abbatoir blues is welcome relief with character, great food and a cool ambience.

Steak was cooked to.perfection however the accompanying vegetables were cold. The wagu burger was good value and the chips were very good. Staff were efficient. The building is lovely and the old meat hooks add character. The music was ok when we arrived but then it was turned up so loud we couldnt talk across the table. This really brought the experience down.

A lovely little cafe in the heart of Olympic Park. Great spot for brunch. Food is great, staff lovely. Definitely book if there are events at Olympic Park.
