A great restaurant meal can be an act of storytelling and transportation. Sliding onto a stool at a bar, being met with a classy and silky martini punctuated with a briny olive, is there to prepare you for a plate of finely-shucked oysters that were bobbing in the Atlantic 36 hours ago. In this moment the noise and cacophony can melt away, your phone finds its way back into your pocket, and we find communion with those of us on our left and right.

We place a premium on doing the work to find producers, growers, and ranchers that have values that align with our own. It’s our desire to bring food to your table that speaks to its sense of place and time, and to be able to bring the connection to those producers to a higher level of consciousness.

Amazing service and food. Their A5 Japanese steak was the most wonderful steak ever. We had a birthday celebration there and their attentiveness was outstanding. I would recommend this restaurant highly.

Food was so good. Service was so bad. Got tomahawk and the food was spectacular but the rest was mediocre to terrible. Love steak

High hopes - but service was rushed and impersonal, order was wrong and not even noticed by server, cocktails pre-mixed, and bar tender unaware of short wine list. It wasn’t busy enough to be so unconscious about service. To top it all off, the prices are exorbitant (save happy hour) for a decent meal with poor service.

Had a wonderful meal. Quality of food was high and very attentive staff including River our server made for a great evening. Had the freshest lobster tail that I have had since moving from eastern Canada. Very well done.

Amazing experience on my birthday dinner with a group of 8 close friends. They were flexible us with a last minute modification to the rez. The GM was outstanding and so was the rest of the staff. For me, service is just as important as the food itself, and I’m happy to say that both were A+. This officially put A5 on my top 3 restaurants in Denver.

Food was amazing! Highly recommend the Colorado lamb shank. Service was awesome. The only complaint is the drinks. I had a non alcoholic drink but it was more ice than drink and same with my husband’s alcohol beverage. I’d definitely come back but would probably not order drinks.

It definitely didn't meet my expectations for what should have been a top tier restaurant. I wouldn't go there again nor recommend it. They only had 1ribeye and it was 50 oz ans $250. Settled for the sirloin. Was cooked well and the seer was good but it was a poor cut of meat. Wasn't a $300 meal with only 1 drink kind of experience

We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff went above and beyond to make it extra special for us. Very attentive and the food was spectacular. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back again!

Host seated upstairs which was quieter which was fantastic. Loved sitting up there. Waitress was very helpful and attentive. We ordered pork appetizer which was good but probably took 25 min to receive which was a bit long. The rest of the meal the timing was much better. We split the Caesar salad which was good and a bit spicy. different but good. Ordered the tenderloin and Picanha steaks. Tenderloin was good but the Picanha was truly a great tasting piece of meat. Overall a very good experience and will probably come back.

Lived up to the hype and price. It was prob the best meal I've had all year and the best steak so far in Denver. The drinks were delicious, the steaks were incredible (especially tri-tip and tenderloin), stellar apps, the ambience was nice, good and knowledgeable service. Fairly priced for nice steak place, especially with inflation, I almost expected it to be like 30% more expensive in which case I would've been a little disappointed. But at the price it was 10/10.
