A16 est un restaurant et bar à vin qui apporte les traditions délicieuses et accueillantes de la Campanie animée à San Francisco. Le lieu chic, rustique / moderne est nommé d'après l'autoroute qui traverse le sud de l'Italie. Le restaurant propose des pizzas napolitaines cuite au four à bois et d'autres spécialités de la Campanie tels que la Maccaronara avec son ragu napoletana et une ricotta salata faite maison. Le bar à vin sert 40 vins au verre et en demi-bouteille. La liste est 60 pour cent italienne, la plupart du Sud, et l'autre 40 pour cent provient du Nouveau Monde, célébrant des cépages italiens cultivés en Californie ainsi que de nombreux vins de Californie.

the food was amazing! went on a friday night so I get it was busy but the service was bad. would still go back though

I travel the globe, and consider A16 a "must do" every time when in San Francisco. It has a fun balance of professional/friendly staff and high quality dishes. Would give it more Stars if I could !

Okay so this place is so good I had to come back twice within 2 weeks it’s so bad. This place is bad for my wallet but great for my tummy. THEY HAVE THE MOST AMAZING AMBIANCE you cannot tell me otherwise. The first time I came here I was unfortunately a bit hungover and unwell (it was January 1st) and I almost didn’t make it to dinner but when I did the amazing wine collection they have on the side of the restaurant forced me to order some. I got the lamb pasta and it was MAGNIFICENT. My taste buds literally were in heaven and it was the most flavorful, light and YUMMY YUMMY dish ever. Highly revienne that one. The second time I came here I got a pizza with spicy salami and a the gnocci. Unfortunately the service that day was really slow despite us making a reservation stil. but I do not blame them because it was raining and it was PACKED in there and the outdoor seating didn’t have enough room. I don’t remember her name but we had this FANTASTIC waitress who was super knowledgeable about the wine and pairings and I really wish I could remember her name but she is tall and brunette and was awesome!

Clarify your reservation is actually inside and not in the back outside covered patio with cold chairs and a heat lamp. We all felt like we had to wear our jackets the entire meal. Servers prioritized the inside. Service was absent most of our meal on the patio. When I asked about the reservation being inside they told me the outside plastic covering made it technically inside. I sent the rest of my review privately.
