Our server was very nice so this isn’t personal towards her but everything took a very long time. We came at 4:30 to have an early dinner out with our kids kids and didn’t leave until after 7. Took over 40 mins to get our food and dessert took so long as well which was just a bowl of ice cream and cake that was presumably already made - just needed to be plated. I had asked for a side of plain noodles for my kids who are little (which I realize wasn’t on the menu but had some back to me and told me she was going to charge for a full entire size of noodles ($26) I would have never said yes. She comped 1 appetizer and 1 dessert and gave us a $25 gift card for the inconvenience… as she even recognized how slow things were but to be honest - it was slightly insulting. We want to love this location as much as Newport but it’s lacking in service and efficiency. This is not the first time it has happened. We will still probably return but it just wasn’t the night we had hoped for.

Great personalized experience for my friend and I who both of Birthdays this week. They printed a "Happy Birthday" Menu just for us. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable. The server explained everything about the oysters we ordered and the accompaniments. Overall love A restaurant in Long Beach. The setting is phenomenal.

A PCH is a great place for celebrations! One of the cool things they have is special menus with "happy birthday" or "happy anniversary" printed at the top. This visit was to celebrate my husband's birthday. The service was mostly great, except that we had to wait 10+ minutes for our wine. The bread was great, but I shouldn't have had to ask for plain butter in addition to their beef tallow (?) butter. Other than that, food was great (hubby loved his filet mignon, and I loved the chicken pot pie). Servers were helpful and cheerful. Thank you, A PCH!

We love the ambiance at A PCH, the harbor view at sunset is especially nice! As always, the meal was delicious and the service was impeccable. My wife has food allergies and they always take great care to accommodate her needs. We will be back soon!

The food is mediocre and way overpriced. They have ½ off on wine during the week before 6 pm which is not a bad deal but ½ off of a $30 glass of wine makes it more in the range that it should be in the first place. I have given this restaurant 3 chances and each time my feelings were the same. Too many other great restaurants in Long Beach to settle for this. On a good note, the views are awesome.

Very special restaurant for lunch or dinner. Beautiful inside, and amazing views of the Long Beach Marina. Our service and food were excellent.

The lamb chops were exceptionally unworthy. A very boring dish, not prepared very well. Appetizers were OK, perhaps the best part of the meal

This is my 3rd and final visit to this restaurant. Not to be confused with the exceptional service at The A in N.B. We had a reservation for 7:30pm, and did not get seated until 8pm. And the only reason we were seated by 8pm was we had to complain. The manager said "we overbooked." When we were finally seated, the manager walked by a half-dozen times at no point offered us a drink or a dessert or even checked to see how we were. The bar seating was half-full on a Saturday night which should tell you some of the management issues this restaurant is experiencing. The waiter was great, and the food was very good, but the overall experience was terrible. There is always some issue with this place.
