Founded by London-born, Italian-raised restaurateur and butcher Bruno and his family, A Mano, literally meaning ‘by hand’, promises to serve up a feast!

A-Mano offers British and Italian favorites along with comfort food classics in a relaxed and informal brasserie setting. We serve a menu that combines freshly made pasta and pizza dough, as well as their take on healthy salads and delicious burgers. Open 7 days a week, for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between, popular dishes include starters of Pizza Fritta (seasoned fried pizza); Homemade Carbonara; and the 100% British Beef Burger. Desserts include traditional Handmade Tiramisu and Panettone Pudding. For those on the lookout for a quick bite to eat, A Mano Coffee Bar & Kitchen will be serving takeaway food and drink, both hot and cold. We offer Craft Beer, Classic Cocktail, Prosecco & selection of Italian Wine.

It has gone down hill. We had been regulars but, the food, wait times and portion sizes were dispicable. Orders were incorrect, one waitress had no clue. I'm gutted, it was my favourite place in Orpington and I refuse to go back.

Unfortunately, our experience at A Mano was disappointing. Although we have previously enjoyed takeaways from here, this visit was a letdown. The service was terrible: we waited ages to be served, then had a long wait for our drinks, and the food took forever. At one point, our waitress came over to ask if we wanted to order dessert, even though we hadn't received our main course yet. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, we had to go up and ask about our food. When it finally arrived, it was just okay. The entire experience was ruined by the long waits and lack of attention from the staff, who didn't seem concerned about the delays. We certainly won't be going back or ordering any more takeaways.

From the moment we arrived everything was superb - the service and quality of food & drinks. Will certainly be visiting again in the near future.

We enjoyed the food but the restaurant felt understaffed and service was very slow which was not acknowledged or apparently recognised. We gave up after main course and left without dessert or coffee which we had planned to have. A shame as we like to support independent local restaurants.

Excellent lunch celebrating my husbands 40th birthday with family. The staff were very attentive and friendly, the food was excellent and overall ambience was lovely. They didn’t rush the meal we had a lovely long leisurely lunch. Never had a bad meal here, highly recommend x

Visiting with husband and three friends. As we had a busy full day out we decided to eat quite early evening. I think we were the first people in restaurant so it was nice and quiet! I had the lasagne which was a good sized portion and delicious. It did start to get busier while we were eating but we didn't feel rushed. Waitress was excellent. Will certainly visit again

Why when you book a table the waitress says anywhere - find a quiet corner then umpteen people come in and sit right next to you and the waitress adds another seat? Can they not say well there is a big party coming in I would suggest another table!!

Not that many people when I had lunch but service extremely slow. My husband chose the burger which he said was not great, very chewy.
