Ristorante A CA MIA is open every April and closes at the end of Fall.

We are located across from the Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church on the Washington Street Mall. We are available for Private Parties, Rehearsal Dinners, and Christmas Parties.

The historical building that now houses Ristorante A CA MIA was built in 1872. William Essen operated a bakery and ice cream parlor until 1914 when he sold it to his niece and her husband, Carl and Margaret Kokes. The business remained in his family for over 60 Years. The bakery is one of the oldest bakeries in continuous operation in the country. By the mid 1930s, the ice cream parlor had become the dining room and the business was operated as a restaurant as it is to this day. Our kitchen is under the direction of Chef Todor Videv. We are available for private parties. We offer early seating dinner selections. We accommodate well behaved children.

    Ordered ravioli sampler, should have included mushroom crab and lobster ravioli. 0 crab 0 lobster raviolis. Instead I got mushroom and cheese. When I asked to just be charged for the cheese ravioli dish they denied me and brought me more cheese raviolis.

    Great as always . They especially are great handling children . Just a great professionally run restaurant consistent great food and service .

    Very nice dinner, sat outside, delicious meal, busy night on holiday weekend. Servers and staff did amazing job. Will return.

    Been a diner for 20 years. Whether 2 people or a party of 10 it is always great service and even better food. Thanks Nicolina for our favorite place in Cape May!

    Food was good. If you want more than 2 rolls, you have to purchase extra bread. That is not in keeping with eating bread with Italian food - one needs plenty to soak up the olive oil, gravy, etc.
