Ristorante A CA MIA is open every April and closes at the end of Fall.

We are located across from the Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church on the Washington Street Mall. We are available for Private Parties, Rehearsal Dinners, and Christmas Parties.

The historical building that now houses Ristorante A CA MIA was built in 1872. William Essen operated a bakery and ice cream parlor until 1914 when he sold it to his niece and her husband, Carl and Margaret Kokes. The business remained in his family for over 60 Years. The bakery is one of the oldest bakeries in continuous operation in the country. By the mid 1930s, the ice cream parlor had become the dining room and the business was operated as a restaurant as it is to this day. Our kitchen is under the direction of Chef Todor Videv. We are available for private parties. We offer early seating dinner selections. We accommodate well behaved children.

As always, great food and service. Inside is a lovely intimate dining experience. Prices affordable, an overall wonderful experience.

Lovely location outside to watch people go by. Fast service. Veal parm was delicious. BYOB makes the cost very reasonable.

The staff here was very helpful accommodating our party of 9, including two little ones. The service was prompt, the food delicious, and the portions were huge! A great dinner! 😊

A very nice dinner with friends. The menu items are great and different as compared to other Italian restaurants. I enjoyed the Crabcake Italiano. This was only my second time at A CA Mia, and I definitely will not wait too long to return! Thank you.

Best food, ambiance and price for Cape May. Excellent A Ca Mia antipasto. We go several times a week when we stay. Just wonderful. You can dine inside or indoors.
