8595 is a welcoming and approachable fine dining establishment located in the historic Partridge Inn. Led by Executive Chef Thomas Jacobs since 2018, 8595 is proof that culinary creations can be as personal, powerful, and engaging as any work of art or piece of music. Every locally sourced ingredient, dash of spice, and delicate garnish blend seamlessly to put a modern twist on traditional southern cuisine.

With dishes ranging from duck fat fried chicken to shrimp and grits and a 60-day aged porterhouse steak, the deliciously distinct results stir the soul and harken back to the jubilance and vibrancy of Augusta’s days as our state capital.

The staff was great. However, the kitchen was a problem. It took 1hr and 45 minutes to get dinner AFTER our order was taken. The next morning, we ordered breakfast at 9:00 AM and our food was still not done by 10:30 so we had to leave without breakfast. Again the staff was apologetic, but somehow there was an issue getting food service

We waited almost 1 1/2 hours for our meal. Being diabetic, this was very unacceptable. While 15% of our ticket was reduced, my wife did not eat. She ordered well done pork chops and received medium chops. They were returned and we decided to call it a night. Very disappointed.

This was our first visit and probably only visit. We had an 11:30 reservation. We arrived at 11:25 and were asked to wait a few minutes. That was fine, then a few turned into more than 15. There were not many guests there and plenty of staff, so we were unsure what the wait was for. Once we sat, the dining room was uncomfortably warm. We received our check for $158 for the buffet for two people. Neither of us had alcohol. It was a fine dining price for a beach/pool bar atmosphere. There were people in swim suits there, so we felt very over dressed. The food was fine, nothing I would crave to eat again. Our waitress was the best part of the experience. She was kind and prompt with any thing we needed.

Server was new and disappeared frequently. Fennel salad consisted of very top sprigs of fennel, onion, and carrots. No fennel from the bulb used. Would not recommend this restaurant unless you enjoy throwing a lot of money away.

Cocktails were slow, menu for appetizers and salads were not super appealing, entrees were good. Server Layla was attentive and polite. Would go back just hope for improvement.

Awesome Awesome Awesome, is all I can say! Food variety, taste and service were all outstanding! Cannot wait for the next buffet. Ashely was very hospitable. And seeing the Executive Chef Thomas as he introduced himself talk to all guest that are coming to the buffet and cleaning to ensure the buffet area stayed clean with all the people dining was refreshing. He cares and it shows! Thank you again see you soon!

Now, before I begin, I purposely meant to hit 5-stars in all categories. We stayed at The Partridge Inn as a last minute resort, but were truly amazed at the awesome experience we endured. Miss Terrie and Miss Quaran at the front desk were so helpful and sweet. But we were really wowed at the experience we had at the restaurant. From our entry Ty, who was accompanied by the manager, Ashlee, were welcoming, helpful, and so attentive. We received our table service from Gracie-Kate who was an all-around superstar. She was communicative and attentive. She was genuine and really made sure we felt like honorary guests. The food was amazing! Hot, fresh, and SEASONED! That by itself made the price seem even a little less than they should have been. What threw me to the roof was coming in to get another delicious plate from the buffet and seeing the Executive Chef Thomas sweeping and helping his staff to the point where I had only recognized it was him due to seeing him in the hotel magazine the night before. He was so amiable and human. It was an amazing experience and I want to thank everyone who participated in service the day for the remarkable experience. Don’t walk, RUN to brunch and ask for these people specifically! 10/10!

I have gone for both brunch, and dinner a few months back. This is the first time I have ever experienced the brunch buffet. I didn’t realize that a buffet was offered every 1st Sunday. It was absolutely amazing. So many items to choose from. Everything was hot & fresh. The service was excellent. A few of my favorite items were the seafood stuffing, crab legs, catfish, fried chicken, green beans, Mac & cheese…oh & the grits were absolutely amazing. I will definitely check it out again soon.
