Led by Executive Chef Thomas Jacobs since 2018, 8595 is proof that culinary creations can be as personal, powerful, and engaging as any work of art or piece of music. Every locally sourced ingredient, dash of spice, and delicate garnish blend seamlessly to put a modern twist on traditional southern cuisine.

With dishes ranging from duck fat fried chicken to shrimp and grits and a 60-day aged porterhouse steak, the deliciously distinct results stir the soul and harken back to the jubilance and vibrancy of Augusta’s days as our state capital.

Unfortunately, there were a few things that could not be overlooked: the wedge lettuce was just a sliced head of lettuce with a plastic cup of blue cheese on the side. Bacon bits and tomato pieces were absent. There was no bread offered for the meal. The only options included Texas toast and cornbread. There was no salt or pepper on the table. The waitress, Layla, was very nice and attempted to address our concerns. The highlight of the evening was singer John Hobbs. He was phenomenal!

Food was terrible the shrimp in the shrimp and grits was hard the food tasted cheap and disgusting me and my wife could not eat the food we left the restaurant they have to do better her chicken was burnt cornbread was dry

Excellent venue with elegance and charm. In historic inn and is reflective of a former time. Personal service and very friendly and respectful staff. Excellent food and presentation with very good selections. A hidden gem!

The lamb was good and the scallops were amazing. I give it a 10 out of 10. Everyone was friendly and very helpful.

The entire experience was great. The entire wait staff was beyond helpful and friendly. The food came out super fast and tasted awesome!

Didn't have the ingredients to make a cocktail that's in the bar menu. Didn't have the shortt rib dinner. Didn't have the goat cheese for the same salad I had last time. For my 60th birthday this was a huge disappointment. Go elsewhere. Wait staff nice but mood is dead like. Sorry cannot believe my experience was that bad. Food was terrible. Seafood creole pasta and rack of lamb were mediocre. Pricy and nit worth it.

Trying to find this restaurant was a little harder than I expected. But I’m happy we did. Food was amazing. Best shrimp and grits we’ve had in a long time. Service was great. We will be back next time we are in Augusta.

The staff was great. However, the kitchen was a problem. It took 1hr and 45 minutes to get dinner AFTER our order was taken. The next morning, we ordered breakfast at 9:00 AM and our food was still not done by 10:30 so we had to leave without breakfast. Again the staff was apologetic, but somehow there was an issue getting food service
