   We had to wait a bit for Our table to open up, but the food and service made it well worth the wait.

   Our dinner at 801 Local last night was excellent again. Our server, Dannie, was exceptional, so I’d like to call her out. She was attentive to our requests and was simply delightful, even though it was a very busy Saturday evening! I had the pasta with shrimp, one of my favorite dishes there, and my husband had the smash burger, which is really a stack of three grilled burger patties. He enjoyed his meal very much with sweet potato fries. The noise level is very high, however, which is a drawback if you want to have a conversation with people at your table. Still, I recommend the restaurant because the food is excellent.

   So much fun at 801 Local! Incredible and attentive service as always from Danni and also the manager, and wonderful food and wine! 801 Local is one of my favorite restaurants!

   Ordered a steak sandwich for lunch. Not edible--very tough. A replacement /different sandwich was provided. As a curiosity It should have been provided at no costs for the inconvenience of having to reordered and wait for lunch. No concession or apology was offered.

   This was our first visit to 801 Local and we will be back! The crab dip was perfection. The addition of the charred lemon took it to another level—bright, zesty, and the addition of artichokes kept it from feeling too rich or heavy. The Parker House rolls were delightful, but it was the honey truffle butter that stole the show—rich, slightly sweet, and completely addictive. Honestly, we could’ve eaten it by the spoonful. My salmon was expertly prepared—tender, flaky, and cooked just right. The crispy fingerling onion bits added the perfect crunch, elevating the dish without overpowering it. Bonus points for not being overly salty, which I always appreciate. Meanwhile, my husband debated his entrée choice for a while but ultimately went with the burger—a perfect match for his Zwickel mood. Juicy, flavorful, and downright delicious. He’s usually unimpressed by restaurant fries, but here? He ate every last one. That says it all. My gin and tonic was mixed to perfection, refreshing and well-balanced. Service was attentive and excellent, though drinks took a little longer than expected. Now, the one downside? The noise level. It was loud—so much so that even without hearing issues, we struggled to hold a conversation. If you’re looking for a quiet, romantic evening, consider another 801 property. That said, this was our first visit—but definitely not our last. The food, the flavors, the experience? Worth coming back for.

   Salmon was not good. It was like eating a Swanson fish stick. Noise level was unbearable. Lighting was too low.

   Received a $100 dollar reward for wine offer. Great food, Lillian was friendly and knowledgeable. We both ordered the filets withe 2 sides included. Ordered another side order of risotto per Lillian’s recommendation. Good value for around $140 + free $100 for wine. Every time we come here, we ask ourselves why we don’t come more frequently.

   Today our table was taken care of by Taylor! We love Taylor and always have great service with her! We love the environment at 801, so we took my grandma to brunch there today, and she has never been. As always, it was a nice, quiet brunch with great service. We'll definitely be back, and we'll ask for Taylor! The food was amazing, too. We ordered chicken and waffles, donuts (the accompanying dips and jams are to die for), bananas foster waffles, and the 801 breakfast. All of it tasted great.

    Shrimp Louis is fab. Service was very good but slow as I think he had too many tables. Very noisy environment.
