We went to 801 Chophouse in Omaha, and was thrilled to find out there is one in DC. We got the Sunday Supper, and it was inclusive of salad, steak, sides with mashed potatoes and veggies, and dessert. Excellent value for under 60 per person. Service was great!!! Will go back again!!

Went with my wife for our anniversary. Staff was friendly. They brought my wife the wrong steak and we didn't want to wait for the new one to be made. They still charged us more for the wrong steak. Waiter was very pushy in trying to get us to order dessert, we had to decline at least 4 times. That pushiness coupled with being charged for the more expensive steak made us think upselling a more expensive steak we didn't order was intentional.

Outstanding steakhouse experience. Food and service were outstanding. My wife and son each ordered the petite filet -- one medium plus and one medium rare -- and each was cooked to perfection. I had the bone-in prime rib medium rare, which was excellent. And the chocolate soufflé was outstanding. All-in-all, the best restaurant meal we've had in years!

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing experience at 801 Chophouse in Tysons! From the moment we walked through the door, we were welcomed with such warmth and hospitality, setting the tone for the entire evening. The ambiance was elegant, yet inviting, and we were immediately impressed with the level of service. John, our server, was nothing short of excellent. He gave us a beautiful presentation of all the varieties of meats they offered, along with some interesting history behind each cut. His knowledge and enthusiasm really added to the experience, making it not just a meal but a culinary journey. The food itself was phenomenal—everything was perfectly cooked and presented. Every bite was a testament to the quality and care that goes into their dishes. From start to finish, the entire evening exceeded our expectations. 10/10, I would highly recommend 801 Chophouse for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!"

Outstanding service (they even beat out the Capital Grill and Morton's) - great generous pours on wine by the glass - excellent food - tasty and well prepared. One of the best steakhouses in the DMV. Will return for additional meals.

I know this restaurant just opened recently, so maybe the problems that we had are because they are still ironing things out, but the service was really bad. They seated us in the noisy bar area instead of the nice dining room, even though we are a couple who was celebrating a special occasion. Our soup came without a spoon. We waited a very long time for our steaks to come out after our starters—over an hour, then because we had to wait so long the waiter told us that he brought us a spinach side (that we had not ordered) for free, but then when we got the bill, they charged us for it. We had ordered a soufflé at the beginning of the night, but after our steaks, the server brought us the dessert menu, and he did not remember that we ordered the soufflé. When we reminded him that he had already taken our dessert order, he told us he remembered it and would check with the kitchen. 15 minutes later we were still waiting so we decided it was so late given how long everything had taken that there was no way we were going to wait for them to make a soufflé, and that we wanted to just get out of there, so we asked for the check. The food was good, but not any better than Capital Grille or Morton’s. So even though the location is really convenient for us, we won’t go back.

Everything great except food prep time was very long. It was excellent when it arrived. The waiter and manager were trying to help us. We think the delay was in the kitchen.
