Restaurant is beautiful. Our waiter was very, very nice. The food was delicious however, be sure to read the menu carefully because we didn’t realize that my husband‘s steak was charged by the ounce until we got our bill so please avoid a shock when the bill comes by reading very carefully. Otherwise, I highly recommend the restaurant.

We visited last night celebrating our Anniversary. The Restaurant was Beautiful. We did ask to see the meat on the cart they roll out and it was a very nice presentation but it took at least 10 minutes for the waiter to return with the cart. Regards to our dining experience our entrees were truly Awesome as my wife had their Signature Ribeye and I had the Big Bone in Prime Rib. It was literally the Best Prime Rib I ever had in my life and my wife loved her Ribeye. The desserts were a mixed Review. We ordered the Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream and the Chocolate Souflee. Although the Chocolate Souflee was terrific, the Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream was highly disappointing and I couldn't eat more than one bite. We thought the Restaurant was very well spaced out for privacy among tables BUT we were very disappointed that our Anniversary Experience included being sat at a booth next to the food line where we heard shouts of orders the entire dining experience. Also, the waiter was very good but it would have been much better if he told us about the Souflee being needed to be ordered at least 20 minutes ahead of time. Instead, I had to ask him about it and he said, oh yes, I can put that in right now and it will just take 20 minutes but considering it was the end of our meal and it being a school night with our 10 and 12 year old kids with us it was an easily avoidable mistake that dragged out the meal longer than we would have liked. A manager did stop by our table once to wish us a Happy Anniversary which was very nice and he mentioned to us to save room for dessert as they would buy it for our Anniversary. the only problem was the dessert was on our check but the Server did realize it right away and said he would take care of that which eventually it did come off the check. Overall I would say it was a pretty good experience but the extremely high prices did not meet the overall value of the meal.

Let me start with I hope this place makes it. Has potential. Service isn’t great, to start with it took to long to get drinks for a restaurant that was 15 percent full. Attention to detail didn’t exisit. Food was decent. Apps fair but the salad and steak were good. One of the steaks ordered medium rare came out medium well. They re cooked it, but everyone else had eaten already. Fire alarm went off, happens. Should have offered to take care of some thing. Prices 10-20 percent over priced for a high end steak house.

Great food and even better service from Jhon! Jhon recommended the cajun prime rib, which my husband really enjoyed. The cauliflower steak was perfectly seasoned. And the chocolate soufflé was fantastic. Great cocktails, too. Easy parking and a large, beautiful restaurant. We cannot wait to return!

Their dry aged steak is the best steak I've had at any dc area steakhouse. Had the dry aged porterhouse and some a5 kobe while I was there. First time Ive had a5 kobe and a dry aged steak next to each other and I would choose the dry aged any day over the a5. Cocktails were great, wine list was good and had some great bottles to pair with steaks but a smaller wine selection compared to many other places in the area. Highly recommend this place and hope they are able to keep up this level of quality and service the longer they are here.

Expensive but high quality food. Servers and staff are very knowledgeable and care about the food and how it is sourced. Cocktails were excellent, serving sizes were on the larger side and the taste did not disappoint! Bone marrow appetizer was not greasy and was served with salad and tomato compote for the toasted bread that paired so delicately with the marrow. Roasted oysters were crisp and juicy, not overcooked and wonderfully balanced. The only complaint I had was they came out during the server’s presentation of the various cuts and servings of meat on the menu, which meant we didn’t get to eat the oysters while they were still hot. We could have eaten during the presentation, but there was so much information to take in! They do both wet-aged and dry-aged meat in house using their own cooling room and Himalayan salt. The seafood offeringsooked equally stellar.

We went to 801 Chophouse in Omaha, and was thrilled to find out there is one in DC. We got the Sunday Supper, and it was inclusive of salad, steak, sides with mashed potatoes and veggies, and dessert. Excellent value for under 60 per person. Service was great!!! Will go back again!!

Loved the idea of the Sunday Supper pre fixe menu! Not sure what happened, but 2 of the 4 steaks at the table were off. 1- filet, way over cooked. 2- filet, well it was ordered as a filet, looked like a strip cut in half. Over cooked. We were fully recovered with desserts for the table. Prime Rib is good. I’ll take my time to go back, still a young restaurant that has some kinks to work out.
