Best prime rib in town / in the state. Excellent, attentive service that is not pressuring at all. Drinks made to order and generous pours. Overall experience is of a premium steakhouse / upscale restaurant. We will be back!

The service was fantastic but the steaks were much too salty. Sides were also overly salty.

We started off our dinner with a red wine blend that was on the special list and it was very good. They provided a sourdough bread and butter to begin. We ordered a calamari appetizer. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed in the calamari. Maybe it was the type of calamari that they served, but from the south were used to small pieces of calamari which are battered in a tasty breading and a cocktail or spicy remoulade sauce for dipping. This is not what we received. The calamari were very thick, heavy dense pieces and the breading was bland as was the sauce They did have some zucchini strips that were also breaded fried on top of the calamari and those were OK but still a bit bland. They did comp our calamari We also ordered a wedge salad it was topped with pork lardon and also had cherry tomatoes and blue cheese crumbles . The blue cheese dressing was a mild flavored dressing and very creamy. We had the pork chop which came smothered with cinnamon apples compote . The chop was thick and juicy,Very flavorful and done to perfection. The yellowfin tuna was also a tasty entree. The tuna had come from Hawaii had a grass skirt of sliced green onions 😉 adorning a sliced rare steak of tuna and was sitting on snow peas and shiitake mushrooms. I think the flavor of the snow peas and mushrooms was lost in the sauce on the tuna I would have preferred my tuna whole when brought to the table and veggies on the side . We did not have any dessert as the entrees are large portion Michele was taking care of us and she did a great job until the end of service when I believe she got busy. We had already asked another waiter for the check and then she came by to ask about dessert. She is very knowledgeable and capable. She shared an interesting history of the restaurant.

Great steaks and sides. Friendly service. Never felt rushed. Terrific desserts too Maybe one of the best prime rib roasts I’ve had.
