3 Course Dinner in the Dining Room

Enjoy panoramic views of Los Angeles with this reservation for our 3 course prefix menu in our dining room. WINDOW TABLES ARE NOT GUARANTEED for any reason, but will do our best to accommodate requests. No a la carte menu is available in the dining room and we kindly ask all guests to participate in our 3 course, $103.00 per person menu. An 18% service charge is added to all guests checks and is fully distributed to the hourly restaurant staff. A credit card is necessary to reserve the table but will not be charged unless the party late cancels or no shows. Business casual dress code required. No sports wear, flip flops, shorts or ball caps allowed. Children are welcome but we are a fine dining adult atmosphere.

I know they keep saying window tables are not guaranteed, but there were multiple window tables becoming available but they refused to let us sit there ! I’m just curious to see how it works. I’m a customer like other customers “ and you can’t reserve window tables “ so when there’s a window table available why we that are already there are not allowed to sit there ?! If you can’t accommodate customers request then why even bother to ask for their request??

The food took forever regardless of me telling the waiter and making eye contact with them...they did not care and 45 minutes later my food arrived. Just about when I was leaving the place. I am never coming back to this overrated place.

You pay for the view, that’s all. The food is below the average for the price, the taste is meh. The view is unique and impressive.

My husband and I went there to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We were first sat at a table across from the kitchen so we asked for a new table, as we didn’t want to hear the noise from it. We sat at the bar to wait after they said 30-45 minutes which was fine. An hour later, nobody came to seat us! We would have walked out if it had not been for the very nice bartenders who said we could order food there. They saved the day. The receptionist and female who sat us were like cold fish! Not the attitude I’d expect when spending $100 plus per person. Mind you, we were in wedding attire.

Our experience at 71 Above was great! Went for my girlfriend and I for our anniversary. Great view and amazing food. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
