Our restaurant setting is in an open air palm made "palapa". Enjoy a relaxing ambiance made by scenic surf view, soft Latin jazz, sea breeze and the sound of the surf breaking on the beach. Our "7 Seas" project is a gastronomical endeavor in search of exciting fresh seafood dishes made of fish caught from according to Jacques Cousteau "one of the great aquariums in the world": the sea of Cortez. Dishes are inspired from Old and New world, Oriental and Mexican legacies. As a complement to our main menu, we offer Mexican dinner specialties. Wine is carefully selected and brought from wineries all over the "7 Seas" from California, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, France, Italy, Germany, Australia and New Zealand. Our bread, desserts and pastries are done in-house by our talented pastry chef.

We have been to 7 Seas on previous trips, and had a very pleasant experience, but….. this time was off. The location is scenic, directly on the beach. The staff is fluent in English and Spanish. The menu is bilingual with USD and Pesos listed on the menu. Fresh seafood is available, accompanied by a decent collection of wines and a full bar. We were seated and before we could have table conversation the waitstaff was asking us for our dinner choices. We normally take two hours for dinner when having a casual evening dining with friends, but this was rushed not casual. Appetizers, while tasty, were not hot on arrival and drinks were served after we reminded them what we ordered. Our two couples ordered similar dinners to share for entree course, but we were served the incorrect food and prepared incorrectly. An instance being that my beef, ordered med rare, came well done and dry. Since this was a rushed dinner I didn’t send food back, but also since I had eaten the other half of the entree prior to discovering the burned meat segment. The staff twice tried to remove my plate while I was still eating ( don’t put your fork down and stop chewing for conversation — that is taken as a clue that you have finished¿). Overall the food is acceptable and a couple can eat for around 200$ US, it do not expect fine dining like that available elsewhere.

Lovely view, calamari, spinach salad , shrimp mexacal were all very good. Plantains were a bit under cooked for my taste.

Excelente restaurant, José Luis y su equipo fueron muy profesionales. Son capaces de crear toda una experiencia. Las mesas en la playa fueron espectaculares. Gracias por sus atenciones.

My husband and I really enjoyed every aspect of our Valentine’s Day dinner, the wine was lovely, the food was awesome and the staff was excellent, especially our server. The setting by the ocean, with the full moon was just perfect! We will definitely return for more fabulous experiences!!!

Everything about this wonderful restaurant is top notch. It never disappoints. Every year it is our “go to” spot for a memorable meal and evening.

We typically go to seven seas for breakfast, but this time we decided to try dinner. We were just as impressed with the dinner as we are breakfast. It far exceeded our expectations in service, quality and ambience. They have heaters on their porch as well which makes for a comfortable evening ocean front!!! One of our all time favorites all around!!!
