I have enjoyed the happy hour at 6S many times before, and for the most part they are good. For an establishment that projects itself to be a premium steak house, I was sorely disappointed. I ordered medium rare prime rib, - I received the end cut that was well done, and dry. It was returned, and I received a cut that was 'medium' - pink and warm in the center. The cut was not tender. I get the impression that it was heated up from an earlier cook. I ordered a 'loaded' baked potato. The baked potato was 'old' - it had a taste as though it had been cooked a day or so before - then heated up. It was a larger potato, with about a tablespoon of sour cream and little or no butter. there were a few bacon bits. My 1/2 wedge salad was very good, my daughter's filet (she said) was good as well. Another diner in our party had the strip steak and she said it was good, but nothing to write home about. The prices dictate that everything they serve should be 'something to write home about.' Nothing they served was.

Bread and sides were better than the steak. Our steak was overcooked and honestly we didn't say anything cause it was quite a while after we ordered to receive the food but overall it was good. Would probably try somewhere else first before coming back but not bad to try since we were visiting

6S was so good we went there two nights in a row. Both nights were consistently excellent. appetizers. Salads. Breads. Wine choices. Perfectly seared steaks. Timing and attentiveness of service. Fantastic atmosphere. everything was extremely enjoyable and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Reading the many reviews, my wife and I decided to go for her birthday dinner. Made a reservation with ease (even changed it to an earlier time, no problem). Upon arrival, my wife loved the ambience of the place! It was very well decorated, high ceilings with curtain chandeliers. Service was OK, not bad at all. However, seemed a bit rushed for a practically empty room. Drinks were well done, no complaints to the bartender. Food was good, Salmon was under cooked to my wife's taste. My Waygu Sirloin had flavor, the add on lobster tail was huge, but again under cooked. Server did ask about a special occasion, which was listed on reservation, and we had a well presented vanilla pound cake dessert on the house! Overall, the experience was very nice. The price was expensive. Relative to experience and food, but we were prepared for the price reading other reviews. Would we go again? Yes, most likely for cocktails and a lighter fare dinner. Less chance of variance on food prep and more affordable, especially if you can make it for happy hour!

Had another great dinner at 6s Steakhouse. I had an 8 oz. filet that was cooked to perfection. I added the pepper corn demi sauce and it was wonderful also. They have a great martini list too.
