Ordered the $470 snow aged waygu (medium rare) from this fancy briefcase (was with my daughter on a daddy daughter date so of course trying to impress :) and it came out rare and quite cold. I had to send back to be cooked properly as it was not even safe to eat. Apps/Service were average. Her mocktail drinks were actually pretty good. Honestly, prices should be cut by at least 50-75% for most items for me to even consider returning. Does not even come close in comparison to even chain restaurants like Ruth's Chris or Capital Grille. We ate at Capital Grille in Providence RI for 4th of July and got the grand plateau which came with 2 lobsters, tons of fresh crab meat, dozen oysters, 8 giant shrimp for $120; 677 prime wanted $240 for literally half the amount. My first date with my now wife was $500 and we had tomahawk steak, foie gras, lobster tail, escargot, shaved brussels sprouts and a pour of pappy 20 yo bourbon. I've been to Michelin 2 and 3 star restaurants for less. We were on a road trip across NY to VT and I specifically decided to stay in Albany as a good stopping point because the website made this place look totally badass. I had very high hopes and was super excited to try this place out but man, I feel like I got absolutely robbed. The cherry on top was waking up at 3am to puke it all up.

Fantastic service and food. Got the octopus appetizer , cowboy steak with peppercorn sauce, truffle fries, and a banana foster dessert. Phenomenal meal left in great spirits

I’ve traveled around the world eating in fine restaurants. I was disappointed at how downtrodden Albany, my hometown had become, then I found this gem of a restaurant. It would be worthy of a Michelin star ⭐️.

To start, I have to thank our Waiter Joe - he was great and deserves 5 stars. It's the hostess and shift manager who kind of ruined our experience. We had been going to Prime (Saratoga location as well) for years and the service was always impeccable, until this time. I had table for 5 people reserved and came in very early. I asked the hostess if there is a chance for us to get our table earlier and was told yes, the table is available. Restaurant was almost empty. Than I was told by another person that we'll be seated when the rest of the party comes in, because the table needs to be set up. When other 2 people came, I asked to be seated, but was told no. The explanation was: it's a restaurants policy to seat the entire party. In all these years of going to this place, this was a very first time we heard of such policy and were made to stand in a tiny corner in the reception for 15 min, while our table was empty and waiting for us... We wanted to order a bottle of wine, while waiting, but instead the restaurant lost sale... If it's a new policy (because it had NEVER happened before), it's not a very good one... We were celebrating our Anniversary with our adult children and this incident definitely ruined the mood. Hope the management will re-consider this policy!

Everything was cooked exactly as requested and the staff were fantastic, friendly, efficient and attentive. My family and I had a nice dining experience and highly recomend!

I was very pleased with my service. Bartender Jennie was sweet and suggestive. The duck wings AMAZINGGGGGG. I will be back with all of my friends and family. Thanks for providing a great environment for my scheduled alone time.
