64 Goodge Street is a new restaurant from Woodhead Restaurant Group, which opened in early August 2023. A former travel agent in our beloved Fitzrovia (64’s older siblings Portland and Clipstone are just round the corner), we were hugely excited by the opportunity this blank slate of a site afforded us.

We’ve been able to build from the bottom up, and therefore design every inch of space to meet our hope for 64 Goodge Street. Namely, that it is a space in which guests feel utterly taken care of.

We are open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. We very much hope to see you soon.

I had wanted to go here for some time. It was well worth the wait. The food, very French in style, was superb, from the amuse bouche of Delica pumpkin soup through to the Paris Brest dessert. A good wine list with some nice wines available in 375ml carafes - great for the single diner!

We had an excellent meal here. Very good service on traditional lines with amuse bouches and petit fours. The wine list is excellent with a good range of wines by the glass. The ambience was very calming and despite the wooden floors, we could easily speak to each other across the table. Would definitely go back again.

The food was lovely. The team working the restaurant all synchronized to make service seamlessly professional and personalized. It’s on our list of restaurants to revisit.

Shhh don’t tell anyone. Central London, excellent cookery, wonderful flavours and banging produce for £49 for 3 courses (at lunch) you have got to be kidding me! Portions sizes sensible and food is quite rich, so unlikely you will leave unsatisfied. Even the wines are reasonable for the quality. A new “go to” for me would have no issue recommending to anyone.

We had a most enjoyable meal., although disappointed that they had run out of tart ou pomme., otherwise the food was first class as was the service.

Had a great meal at 64 Goodge Street. Food was first class and service attentive but not intrusive. A wide ranging wine list but good quality even at the cheaper end. Highly recommended.

A delicious short menu offering great value at lunchtime. Everything we tasted was excellent, including quail as a starter, beef onglet, chicken and Paris-Brest. First class handling of a food intolerance with the menu annotated to show which dishes were suitable. Loved the extras- the brioche was fantastic as were the petits fours. Service both professional and friendly. Would have no hesitation in returning to this lovely small restaurant.

Had a very enjoyable evening - great wine, brilliant food - my red mullet starter was so good - good wine and unobtrusive service. Will be back.

I took my wife to lunch for her birthday with my grown up son. We used to travel a lot in France in the 80s and early 90s, mostly eating at 1 or two star Michelins and Red Ms. This meal was so reminiscent of those halcyon days. A calm atmosphere, polite and friendly staff, but most of all wonderful food with vivid flavour. I was expecting more of a bistro style having read about it in a review of modern bistros. Whilst the look of the restaurant is quite bistro..ish, the food is definitely more refined than the word bistro would lead one to expect. Every single dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour, the breads were out of this world and the wine list is beyond reproach. It is a beautiful dining room with solid furniture and dark green banquette. All the fittings and fixtures have a timeless quality to them. Well done to all concerned.
