64 Goodge Street is a new restaurant from Woodhead Restaurant Group, which opened in early August 2023. A former travel agent in our beloved Fitzrovia (64’s older siblings Portland and Clipstone are just round the corner), we were hugely excited by the opportunity this blank slate of a site afforded us.

We’ve been able to build from the bottom up, and therefore design every inch of space to meet our hope for 64 Goodge Street. Namely, that it is a space in which guests feel utterly taken care of.

We are open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. We very much hope to see you soon.

Second visit here and had a great time again. Classic French bistro food at a high standard and sensible price. Attentive service.

Absolute class, this was the last of the woodhead group for me. All such good value for money. I’ll be back.

Lovely little restaurant with excellent service and expertly prepared dishes. The wine list is top notch.

An absolute gem. From the varied and well selected menu to the faultless cooking , from the quite superb wine list (reasonable prices too) to the friendly and efficient service this was an incomparably enjoyable experience.

Definitely a great find. Enjoyed lunch, good range of options. The mullet and bouillabaisse delectable and the mushroom gougere too, also the cod with spinach. Too full for dessert but the crème brûlée perfect. Staff friendly and informative about allergens in dishes. It’s a small establishment and could feel cramped if you’re on the tall side…Petit fours with coffee a perfect end. Great value.

We had a lovely dinner at 64. Staff were great, attentive but relaxed. Restaurant interior has a modern brasserie style look, It's comfortable and very nicely insulated from busy Googe Street. A little pumpkin Amuse Bouche was knockout and my crab starter was delicious, my comparison's skewers were unremarkable but still nice. Mains were solid and plates were cleaned. The only side we had was Pommes Anna and that was delicious. Tarte Tatin and Paris Brest were both excellent. Drinks wise they do a really nice list of half bottles if you don't want to go for 750ml which is what we did, going to the expensive end of the list for a less is more experience. Complimentary sparkling water was provided and the bottle was refreshed without us asking. It's not a cheap night out, but rent for a space in W1, good ingredients and lots of very professional chefs and front of house staff don't come cheap. Overall, it's somewhere I'd recommend and go back to especially with their ever changing menu. Thanks team 64.
