64 Goodge Street is a new restaurant from Woodhead Restaurant Group, which opened in early August 2023. A former travel agent in our beloved Fitzrovia (64’s older siblings Portland and Clipstone are just round the corner), we were hugely excited by the opportunity this blank slate of a site afforded us.

We’ve been able to build from the bottom up, and therefore design every inch of space to meet our hope for 64 Goodge Street. Namely, that it is a space in which guests feel utterly taken care of.

We are open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. We very much hope to see you soon.

Tastes every bit as good as it looks. Delicate generosity, delicious pairings, perfectly paced. Would recommend a slew of hors d’oeuvres as well as everything else! Friendly understated service and lovely room.

This is a real special occasion restaurant, where the food and wine are exceptional and you therefore pay for the privilege of eating there. We had a delightful round table in the window with plenty of room. The service was attentive and knowledgeable without being too pushy and all four of us were delighted with our overall experience. For me this would be a once (or at best twice) a year experience, although next time we might pay more attention to the cost of the wine we were drinking. Prepare for an exceptional meal but make sure your bank balance can stand it. We're already considering what pretext we can find to go again.

A great visit to 64 Goodge Street. The snacks - specifically the chicken liver parfait, were outstanding! The red mullet bisque was fantastic … full of flavour and moreish and desserts my favourite were all outstanding on our table! A warm welcome on arrival and perfect service throughout. Will looked after our table and was a real gem … incredibly polite and professional. Will be dining again.

Everything about tonight was exquisite,the ambiance, the restaurant,the service and the food. I honestly can't fault any element of tonight, one of the best if not the best meal I've ever had. We all tried each other's starters and mains and choosing a favourite was a difficult task!

I visited this restaurant over the weekend and had an overall pleasant experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the warm, inviting atmosphere made for an enjoyable dining setting. Despite being an open kitchen concept, it was surprisingly quiet and didn’t disrupt the ambiance. The food had some highlights, particularly the red mullet and cod, which were both cooked to perfection with beautifully tender textures. However, the seasoning could use a bit more refinement to really elevate the flavors. We also tried the Pommes Anna, which unfortunately was overly salty and inconsistently seasoned. While this was a bit disappointing, I believe it’s something that could be easily improved with more attention to detail. Overall, this restaurant shows great promise. With such a welcoming team, a cozy ambiance, and strong cooking techniques, it has all the ingredients for success. A little fine-tuning on the flavors would take it to the next level, and I look forward to seeing it grow!
