Nice outdoor seating area and good service. Food was good, but a smaller menu. The “Patterson” is a great take on an Old Fashioned.

Asked to eat outdoors. It was a lovely evening. Was told fully booked even though most tables not occupied. Was offered table right by door which we took. Many of the better outdoor tables were never occupied while we were there. Had people brushing by us the whole time. Will not go back. They should have considered their actual customers first before the invisible ones.

Love the menu. Possible to eat a little lighter here, if one wants. Our server was great. They set up an umbrella for us, as the sun was in our eyes. We ate on the outdoor patio, which is delightful. Ambiance is great - fun, relaxed, not too noisy. Brick wall around the outdoor patio makes for a very inviting space.

What a delightful restaurant this is. Luncheon choices were so plentiful that it was hard to select one. Shrimp tacos were among the best I have ever had. All my guests enjoyed their meals and I saw many other entrees that I would choose next time. We celebrated a birthday with the coconut chocolate mousse that was beautiful in presentation and delicious. Eating outside on this warm September afternoon was perfect but I look forward to enjoying the inside when the weather turns. Excellent service.

The occasion was a birthday celebration. The entire event was perfect, Service, food, drinks and the complimentary dessert including the wonderful outdoor patio. On our list for future dining.

Fantastic food, service, and ambiance - as always! 510 Local has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in the area. My husband and I try to order new or different dishes every time we visit, and they never disappoint. We are always excited to try something new there!

501 Local is a Winnetka restaurant with a modern decor. There is a lovely patio area and the inside is roomy although the two of us asked for a table for 4 as the table for 2 are so small. The food was unbalanced. I ordered the spring rolls served with a peanut and a chili sauce that were delicious but the Brussels sprout salad was a disappointment. I took most of it home but did not finish eating it, My friend ordered the chicken sandwich which was average but the fries were delicious. There is an extensive wine list. Other items on the menu may be better but the menu is not extensive.

For starters, were we able to seat you at a 4 top table? I'm sorry your didn't like you Brussel sprout salad. Thats one of of best sellers actually.
