Food was fantastic! I had the chicken thigh, mac and cheese, and greens. My husband had the burger and for dessert we had the peach chess pie. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Service was great and the food overall was not memorable. The menu online and at the restaurant didn’t match. The greens and bread service with sangria butter were great. The peaches in the chess pie were still a bit too firm and undercooked. Take the mac and cheese out of the tin pan as it doesn’t match the rest of the experience and ambiance. During our dining experience there were two other patrons besides our party. Noticed that the Chef was on site and in the restaurant seating area during our experience. Would have been nice for the Chef to engage the patron that were there in the intimate setting.. ( hey thanks for coming in, how did you hear about us, how was the food or your experience). Would possibly try again after a few months to see if improved. If not would not return.

The food was very good. The serving size was sufficient to share, which allowed us to get dessert. The peach chess pie was soo good.

Did not know this was SOOOO NEW! LOVED the decor, music and the food! The vibe will be even more amazing when the sun goes down! The delish southern twist on some favs was very refreshing and enjoyed by this Chef. I just want more dessert options to enjoy!!

Absolutely amazing twist on traditional Southern staples. The place was clean and quiet. Prices were very reasonable for the excellent quality of the food. Highly recommend! The kitchen closes at 8:30, so be aware of time if going in the evening.

I wouldn’t change a thing. Service was prompt and friendly and our server helped us make excellent decisions. The food was outstanding. The flavors were perfect—house-made pickles, creamy grits, a perfectly juicy fried chicken sandwich and the sides could stand on their own! Pickled carrots with turmeric, creamed corn (nothing like your mom used to make!) and fried squash that was crispy and not overly battered. We will be back!

Really loved our experience! Went for date night and enjoyed the food, drinks, and service. Had the oxtail meatloaf (a must get!) and the trout, and a few sides and dessert. Everything was delicious! Cocktails were also fantastic! We will definitely be back!

My experience at this restaurant was terrible. Had a reservation for 7:15 party of 4. We were seated at 7:40. No wait staff came over to table. Waitress went to table beside us, never acknowledged us. My husband went to the bar to get our drinks. We were given wrong order, staff said OK no charge . I went to host stand to inquire about the server for our table, host took our order. After 45 minutes waiting for food and no one checking on our table, we got up and left. I was embarrassed in front of my guest. I had really talked up this restaurant prior to coming. This was suppose to be Grand Opening. I would have to say Big Flop. In a city with as many restaurants as Charlotte has, this was a one and done. I did reach out to owners and never received a response. In closing I had to leave one star for food to be able to leave this review.

Service was slow. Waited long time. Left and ate at dresslers next door. Had eaten there 3rd and feenwood. Good service and good food Sorry and disappointed.
