The outdoor dining experience at 30 Boltwood is excellent and delightful. Since we are COVID-cautious we do not eat indoors, and having a comfortable, pleasant space outdoors is important to us. The food is quite good, though we were surprised that the kitchen had run out of the makings for eggs florentine by 1230 pm during Sunday brunch. The cheese board is large and varied enough to be a meal of its own, but we had it as an appetizer. My Turkish eggs were good; pleasantly spicy tempered by yogurt with solid chunks of sourdough toast to sop up the yolks.

We sat outside on the patio for a birthday celebration on a Monday night. We had an absolutely lovely server and the ambiance, as always, was wonderful. However, the food took AGES to arrive, and despite our extremely gracious server, it was also a very long time before our order was even taken. Food was unfortunately sub par - surprisingly, the fries were below average, their menu needs more variety and creativity. I hope the chef considers adding new items (daily specials, new ways of preparing old favorites, etc.). I have had the same scallops preparation, for instance, for months now, since last fall. Basically, I would only go back for drinks.

We come here from Boston annually to meet up with old friends and ALWAYS have a wonderful meal. Highly recommend.

Food arrived Luke warm. The fruit in the yogurt, something was wrong with it. Oatmeal was only warm and tasted like it was out of a package, there was sugar added to it, not appetizing. Coffee was not acceptable. The only thing even edible was a bagel with cream cheese, also not served hot. Not a redeeming thing about this experience.

We have dined here many times and found it to be hit or miss. Last night was miss. Took forever for our drinks, appetizer and bread to arrive. Food was lukewarm. Disappointing to say the least.

We had dinner and breakfast here. Both were great. We split a salad and a charcuterie board, which were fantastic. Shared entre was the duck --leg and medallions. Superb!

We loved our time on the porch. Our food servers cared very much about our experience, and we found a few delicious gluten free options on the menu. We look forward to our return next summer when back in Amherst.

We ate on the porch, which was quiet and uncrowded. Then it rained, which made for a very romantic ambiance (and perfectly dry). All in all, special dining.
