save your time and $$$$ really bad. our poor waiter was covering like 15 tables. thus the service sucked…..his fault? no…but it still sucked. place way understaffed food hit or miss. salad unimaginative but fresh and tasty. salmon tartar excellent. muscles inedible. would not recommend a visit

I’ve been to 30 Boltwood before and I am a fan, so my review may be somewhat biased. This time was for Brunch with my wife’s family who were visiting from out of town. Food was excellent (I had the Turkish Eggs), atmosphere was quiet and comfortable (10:00 AM is a sweet spot for Brunch on a Saturday between the early and late morning rushes). We were seated and helped right away. The only ding on this trip is that once the other tables started to arrive, we were forgotten about. I had to wave down a server for refills on water and coffee, and once again for the check. Not too bad - I think they might have just been caught a little understaffed at that particular time. I would still highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious and plentiful mussels leisurely munched @ lunch. The setting postcard -perfect on a delightful outside area of the Inn with a view of the Amherst common and the College. Served by an expert server-attentive and nonintrusive.

Highly recommend. We had a lovely lunch outside under the covered porch with heat lamps on. Our server was wonderful and the food was delicious! Very relaxing setting and my elderly mother and young son were treated so nicely. We will be back.

The Turkish’s Egg’s dish was a new dish for me and rather tasty/healthy. The other dishes were fine for this party of three.

Delicious place to spend a fall New England morning . There was outside seating right on the Amherst Common. My fancy brunch consisted of a generous order of fluffy French toast.Berries were sprinkled on . I then smothered the feast with real maple syrup. A large cup of coffee of coffee complemented the meal. Service perfect-attentive but nonintrusive.

Food was delicious but service was not great unfortunately. Had to ask the host if we had a server so we could put a drink order in after waiting 15+ mins at the table. Drinks took longer than expected to come out. One of our drinks was incorrect so it was sent back. Replacement drink also took extra long to be delivered. Manager comped our round of drinks which was nice. Hoping it was just an off day for service!

Not worth the money at all. First our reservation was given away to someone else. Then we were seated right next to the door where all the waiters walk out with the orders. The mixed Drinks were very good but that’s where the good ended. The food was somewhere between being good and okay. Not to mention at least 3 of mussels in our appetizer was rancid. Save your money and go somewhere else for half the money. If you want a fancy dinner there is much better places in western ma.
