Located downtown Bridgeport CT, 29 Markle Ct. Awarded "Best New Restaurant 2023" by the Connecticut Restaurant Associations "CRAZIES Awards". Upscale New American Cuisine, focused on local, coastal ingredients and smoked methods of cooking. Exec Chef, @chefdamondaye.

We gladly accept walk-ins at the bar on a first come first served basis. A 15-minute grace period is allotted to your arrival time should you run late. After 15 minutes your reservation will be released and offered to guests on our waitlist. All guests must be present to be seated. Tables are reserved for one & half hours. For parties of 6 or more, a $25 per person credit card hold is required to confirm your reservation. No shows and or unconfirmed cancellations risk forfeit of held funds. If you would like to book a catering event or a reservation for a larger party (8+), please send an email to restaurant@29marklect.com. All larger party requests must be confirmed and require a credit card. Thank you.

Definitely try 29 Markle Ct. The ambiance is cool, the food is excellent and inventive. The curry muscles were delicious and our waiter couldn’t have been more enthusiastic. When we waited too long for our after dinner drinks she was very apologetic and comped them, wanted to make sure we left with a positive experience.

Our first time here after months on my “list” - met/exceeded expectations. Inventive, well-rounded menu with lots of options. The crab balls were nice & spicy, and if I were a poet, the carrots deserve and ode written to them! Service could not have been anymore solicitous, friendly and engaged. Will be back to try more items on the menu that called out to me!

Outstanding restaurant. Outstanding food ( especially, spicy shrimp and grits and tomatoes burrata salad) and service. A true gem.

This was a third visit and very much looking forward to another great experience. However, we were very disappointed. We were dining with friends we had not seen in a while, and our server was very disruptive. At one point she actually asked us all to pick up our utensils and glasses so that she could wipe the table off (it was not even dirty). The menu is apparently being revamped and scheduled to come out next week, so several of the wines were not available and there were no specials. The food was very good, so that was the saving grace.

Service and food are always fantastic. Menu is unique and changes frequently. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Fairfield County.

Always look forward to returning to 29 Markle. Good wine list and cocktails, and amazing fresh and local food. Some of my favorites include the Caesar salad (not heavily dressed, the way I like it, as the far fresh lettuce is so delicious), maitake mushroom, fried chicken. So highly recommend!!

Good atmosphere. The servers work well together. The food is outstanding. Everything was served beautifully laid out. Hot and delicious. Loved that the chef came out to ask if we enjoyed our meal. If you are in Bridgeport go to this establishment

This is now my third time going and trying something different off of the menu…..and it does not disappoint. The food is consistently delicious and meticulously put together on the plate!!!! The servers are so pleasant and welcoming, which provides a wonderful atmosphere. Great experience yet again! I will definitely be going back again.
