Located downtown Bridgeport CT, 29 Markle Ct. Awarded "Best New Restaurant 2023" by the Connecticut Restaurant Associations "CRAZIES Awards". Upscale New American Cuisine, focused on local, coastal ingredients and smoked methods of cooking. Exec Chef, @chefdamondaye.

We gladly accept walk-ins at the bar on a first come first served basis. A 15-minute grace period is allotted to your arrival time should you run late. After 15 minutes your reservation will be released and offered to guests on our waitlist. All guests must be present to be seated. Tables are reserved for one & half hours. For parties of 6 or more, a $25 per person credit card hold is required to confirm your reservation. No shows and or unconfirmed cancellations risk forfeit of held funds. If you would like to book a catering event or a reservation for a larger party (8+), please send an email to restaurant@29marklect.com. All larger party requests must be confirmed and require a credit card. Thank you.

This was hands down the best meal my husband and I have had since moving to CT 3 years ago. The food is creative and delicious, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the space is lively and inviting. We will definitely be back.

First time to 29 Markle and it was outstanding! We ended up sitting at the bar (by choice) which was fantastic. It was very lively and all the bartenders and wait staff were super friendly. We had the charred asparagus (good) and the rice & crab balls (excellent) to start. We then got the half bird and the halibut (both were excellent as well). Drinks were fun and tasty too. Service was very good (and they were super busy). I highly recommend this restaurant and I know we will be back!

Great place.. creative food with a punch of complex spices. Wesley and Chef Damian are creating a unique place that is warm, friendly, and inviting. Food that is familiar with interesting twists! Don't hesitate - go!

What a great find! Delicious creative food.. those carrots with whipped ricotta! Wonderful staff and experience overall. We went before a concert and it was great.

If you like excellent food, great service and a friendly place for dinner this is it. Everyone involved is a professional who seems to love what they do. My favorite restaurant.

WOW. This is the only word I have to describe our experience at 29 Markle Ct. The food, the cocktails, the service, and the vibe were all impeccable. We live about 25 miles away from this restaurant and we are already planning when we can go again! I can't think of any other restaurant that far away that we would do this for. The food is elevated , innovative and comforting at the same time (like your culinary star mom is cooking for you!). We loved both their menu staples (the half chicken was amazing ) and the seasonal offerings (burrata with tomatoes and grilled bread was a standout). Everything was fresh and elegantly presented, the service was friendly and attentive, and we woke up the next morning still thinking about our meals. Highly recommended, worth a trip from wherever you are. The reviews are all correct!
