To be fair, we were told that there would be a function on but, I did not expect the kind of function it was! Basically, it was a nightclub! Took my wife & parents for my dad's birthday treat. So, we were a little taken aback by the noise. My dad has hearing aids but all they did was amplify the noise, so he had to take them out. We did just about manage but, would have much preferred a little quieter. Really felt like we should have been told what kind of function it was going to be i.e. it will be very very noisy! Other than that the food & service was excellent and of course the views over Manchester are terrific.

My friend and I were celebrating my graduation. We had food beforehand so we only had starters sides and drinks at 20 stories. The food was not to the standard of this restaurant. It has so much more potential. There should be more food options and the starters were not tasty at all. The chicken and ham tasted fishy, so I couldn’t even have half a bite, and didn’t touch it after. And the starter that was fish, had no additional flavour. The sourdough that came with the starter was burt and was very hard. The price was too much for the starters. The drinks were good however. We were not satisfied with the food at all.

fell in love with this place again after our meal last night. we had a great meal and service. The lovely waiter looking after us was so helpful and friendly, i didn't catch his name unfortunately but he told us he was from Morocco. His service was brill a real credit to 20stories.

The food was too salty. The duck and rocket salad had an unhealthy amount of salt and spoilt the taste. The monkfish was good but again very salty. Adding loads of salt does not enhance flavour and has health risks. The receiving staff and doorman were very nice and helpful and polite. The Indian server had difficulty in understanding us, although he was very nice. Possibly because the music was so unnecessarily loud?. It felt like we were eating in a night club. The waiter was obliging but was not fit for purpose. For example when asked to bring lemon or lime for the fish he brought lime cordial. He also pushed drinks and seemed to be in a rush to move people on for the next booking. The view was nice and the general decor tasteful. In conclusion, it felt like an organisation trying to be smart but lacking in quality of food and service.

Lovely place and great experience. Food was ok, prob not worth the money. Service was impeccable, especially Rashid he was an absolute pleasure. Great service, funny, really Good attitude

We had the most amazing time - the Sunday Roast was delicious!! We were a little worried at first as they had run out of a few menu items and they didn’t have the ingredients for a drink our guest ordered but we still had the most wonderful time. We dined at 12pm and it was quiet, but the music created a chilled atmosphere. We would definitely revisit!

According to the “chef” you only sear a king scallop on one side, saying that the king scallop was no bigger than the tip of my finger, service poor, management rude, go for a drink not for food big miss
