Beautiful food, stunning staff and great decor with views at this restaurant and bar. Such a special occasion everyone we go and we go often and will be back again.

Had a roast beef Sunday lunch which was really nice. My only criticism was that the beef was very fatty other than that it was very nice

Fab food - not cheap, but very good. Service? It felt like they’d decided how much they expected we were going to spend, and spent their time looking after people spending more than us. The table next to us were already seated when we arrived. Their glasses were constantly topped up, their fresh drinks arrived in minutes. Our first drinks - ordered before the food - didn’t turn up until after our starter was finished. Then we waited an age for the mains to arrive. Finally, after we’d had desert, we were presented with the bill and told they needed the table, our 90 mins were up. Table next to us - still on their mains… Coffee? Sure - “out on the terrace - we need the table”.

Must have been having a bad night or short staffed as we have dined here numerous times and never been disappointed. To serve a bottle of champagne not chilled is just not on. The food was nice but not up to the usual standard.

My partner and I went to 20 Stories to celebrate a special occasion, and the ambience, service, and food all elevated it to an even more special and memorable occasion, I loved every minute I spent here!

Always a special treat to come to 20 Stories and tonight lives up to our expectations. We were entertaining an American friend who was visiting Manchester for the first time and he was impressed! The food and service was superb and if only the weather had cooperated so we had a sunset it would have been perfect. But of course, Manchester. Thank you to the staff for a really lovely and special evening!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Even gave a birthday surprise which was lovely. We have been a few times and keep coming back due to the excellent service and food

Lovely experience, loveley food! Tried the sirloin steak this time around. They cooked this perfectly, medium rare. The waitress was lovely however this time we were told we only had 5minutes to order since we arrived 10mins later at 8.10pm

Exterior and interior of 20 Stories was 5* absolutely stunning. However service was terrible, we spent most of our time looking around for waiting staff. Food was not hot (just Luke warm)Our lobster we ordered was so small and not suffice for two people, most restaurants I attend offer up large lobsters. Asked for a birthday cake to be presented at our table that I had brought into the restaurant, the staff ignored the request and forgot. Although they did give us a sugar cube sized brownie with a candle. Not overly impressed with service/food……disappointing.

Very enjoyable experience and we will be back. They held the table for us as the Concert at the Bridgewater finished late.
