It was good to be back at 1958 Cuban in Westfield- the food and service was once again excellent. We were also pleased to meet the owner who lives in our neighborhood. Highly recommend if you wish to taste authentic Cuban cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere with impeccable service.

Took my partner here to celebrate his birthday . Everything was amazing. The ambiance, our waittress and the food! I loved the detail they put in to the evening. After dinner, several of the staff came to our table and serenaded my partnner with desert of our choice (we had cake) that had a large sparkling candle in it. It totally made the evening more special. He was super surprised. Thank you for making his day extra special!

This was our first time at 1958 Cuban Cuisine and I can honestly say that we will go back. The atmosphere and people were warm and welcoming. The food was excellent. We started with avocado stuffed with oxtail, ropa vieja empanadas, and shrimp in garlic sauce. These were a great start to an awesome meal. For entrees, we had ropa vieja, vaca frita, and boliche mechado. We had congri, tostones, and mixed vegetables as our sides. All of the dishes were so flavorful and the meat was tender. For dessert, we shared flan, rice pudding, and churros stuffed with chocolate. From start to finish, the meal was an A+. We can’t wait to return.
