                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        I always want to support vegetarian and vegan restaurants but it's important to call out when things can be improved. Whilst the food here was mostly tasty, there were a few things I think need to change before I would return or recommend to others: - the cost for many items was really expensive, disproportionately so, for example £10.99 for tempura to start, or £9.99 for the tofu shashlik - the portion sizes were really quite small (even without thinking about the price) - the labelling of what is vegan is worrying. Staff said the 'v' sign highlighted what was vegan but when I asked if the Dahi Vada was vegan as it had a v but mentions yoghurt, I was told no. Perhaps a mistake but I then noticed absolutely loads of other items also incorrectly labelled which gives major cause for concern. - the kaju curry was really disappointing - I accept it describes it as cashew nuts in sauce, but I thought for £12.99 there might be a few other things thrown into the curry such as a few vegetables. I would suggest this is an example of something that is probably worthy of a small side dish in most other restaurants I've been to, for somewhere in the region of £4-6. I really hope the feedback is listened to as this place has a lot of potential.

Long wait time for food to arrive - there were only 3 people in our party and another 4 people on another table. The bottle of wine served was warm. Food itself was good however the portion sizes for the cost of the dish was smaller than expected. 12.5% service charge should not be automatically added on, especially given we were a small party. Won’t be returning.

The food itself was okay, not bad but not phenomenal either. There were some dishes like the chilli chickn which was really good but the other dishes we tried (butter masala, bhajis) were just okay. For the price, we expected better. The food took some time to come out despite being the first ones there to order. However this could be because they make things fresh - just something to bear in mind.
