The restaurant itself is nice- we brought my mother there for her 74th birthday. I ordered the Chesapeake Bay Mac and cheese, and I must say, for the cost of that dish I was really disappointed- I was charged $36.00 for a plate of mac and cheese that had 4 shrimp and about a tablespoon of very finely minced crab. I get that seafood is expensive, but for that price it was not worth what I paid, and the dish was barely warm. We were also charged separately for the sides that were supposed to come with the meal. I did not complain at the time because I did not want to upset my mother (as it was her birthday dinner and she enjoyed her meal), but that Chesapeake Mac and Cheese dish needs some work to make it worth that price.

The food is always delicious & we haven’t had anything we don’t like. Fried chicken dinner & Crabcake sandwich were amazing. Be sure to get the rockfish bites as an appetizer!!!

Had no problem with the drinks and appetizers, but main course ordered a Smashburger and a seafood salad. It took over an hour to receive. I was no longer hungry when I received my burger as for it to go box the manager did deduct the meals off my check too little too late.

Do yourself a favor and order the Crabby Fries! Even though it is an appetizer it is plenty for a meal and is AMAZING!

It took over 15 minutes for the waiter to come to our table. After that things picked up a bit.

The food was excellent, service was great pretty good. However, how can a restaurant NOT have regular coffee available? We’re a group of ladies who end our celebratory (birthday) meals with coffee, espresso better, along with Bailey’s and Franjelico. Really? None of that, especially coffee, available. Disappointed.

Service was extremely slow and food still came out room temperature. They ran out of hamburger buns and offered white sliced bread. I stated that I could’ve made that at home, then the waitress suggested ciabatta which came out not toasted or garnished. Then she came back out and said someone arrived with regular hamburger buns and they came out not toasted, not stamped with 1936 or buttered. It was very lack luster, so I don’t know what took so long. I kept having to ask the waitress for items several times. I had to get up and get my own plastic water because she gave me my food with no utensils. I asked her for straws and she brought unwrapped straws with her hands and placed them on the dirty table. They usually put them in the cups before serving the drinks or bring straws wrapped in a napkin and hand them to you. It was a very poor Christmas Day dining experience. I’d never go back on a holiday or anytime soon. $100 for 1 adult and 2 kids (1 alcoholic drink, 1 entree and 2 kids meals and 2 lemonades)… The price, quality, service, portions, just isn’t justifiable for the price and as long as it took for us to receive our food and for the food still to come out room temperature was just terrible. The bill should’ve been comped.

Great place to have drinks. Nice ambiance and good views of the water. The food is satisfactory, but a little on the pricey side. Fine for special occasions.
