1922 ON THE SQUARE is your local steak and seafood favorite. Its’ newly renovated space that blends modern trends with hints of Art Deco glamour will take you through the years of a family legacy.

We feature tender sizzling steaks, and seasonal seafood such as Wild Salmon, Sea Bass and Ahi Tuna. Along with steak and seafood, our signature oysters, Wagyu beef burger, salads, vegetarian options and pasta dishes provide a variety for any guest. We take pride in using farm fresh products, and local and sustainably sourced ingredients whenever possible.

Our extensive wine list and handmade signature cocktails, both classic and modern, complement our unique menu. Signature cocktails and small plates are offered in our Natoma Lounge Bar, making it a destination of its own. Great experience eating at this restaurant for the first time. The food and service were amazing. Would definitely return.

We went for my wife’s birthday on a Wednesday. Crowd was very low only us and a couple other couples in attendance. Service was prompt and polite. The food portions were huge and worth every penny in taste. For my wife’s birthday we received a free dessert and it was amazing as well. I would recommend going if you have a special occasion.

Too salty - had to send back steak as it was over cooked. Rice and couscous way too salty and over seasoned. Great ambience and staff - hope food improves!

We made reservations at 1922 for a special evening out (table of four). The chef came to check on us twice. He graciously made us a special pasta dish to try and it was phenomenal! All of our food from our appetizer, a charcuterie board, through to our entree’s were delicious! My brother-in-law remarked that the food is possibly better than he’s had even in Columbus at the fine-dining restaurants there. Each time we visit this establishment we leave satisfied and pleased and want to come back.

I like the menu, the food just missed the mark last night. The fish /chips- the batter wasn’t crisp at all, it was cold and spongy. burger was served just warm. The quarter chicken was just ok, Snapper was a tad dry. The service was excellent, the waitress did say they had to wait on the chicken to be cooked. We still had a good time, we each had one drink but for the heafty price tag of 200. the food should have been better.

Reservation was taken easily and honored. We were reminded with confirmation the day before. We were greeted and seated right away. Good, not excessive wine selection, especially choices from various countries and continents, but not nearly as many by the glass as by the bottle. Draft beer selection not extensive, but adequate. Server arrived in a timely fashion and was personable. Checked on the meal enough times but not too many. Good with delivering the check and asking if dessert was desired. Excellent location in the middle of the block on the square 100 feet from the Midland Theatre. Parking on Fridays especially is tight. This is a more upscale restaurant that is needed amidst the present trend of bars and grilles. Recommend reservations especially on days of performances at The Midland. Prime Rib ravioli was mediocre as the prime rib inside, though unique, was more like brisket and dry. Brussel sprout side is good, but a bit salty, and the portion was much larger than it needed to be. Reduce the portion and price. Lobster bisque among the best I have had. Very rich texture. Recommend Argentinian red wine.

I ordered the NY Strip Steak with the mushroom sauce, potatoes and onions. I hated the mushroom sauce and it covered the steak. My partner ordered the scallops and they weren't formed well and were too spicy. Big disappointment. Plus, with the tip our evening out for my birthday came to $170. Rats!

Steak was not the best. Being a steak house we assumed it would be much better. Ordered NY strip med rare Oscar style. Had a hard time cutting and chewing and edges were burnt. All the appetizers and sides were delicious.

I gave 4 stars because I feel it’s difficult to give any restaurant five stars. For me to give five stars it would’ve had to have been over the top. I got the prime rib ravioli which was very good, but could’ve actually been a tad bit warmer, my husband and a friend that was with us got the shrimp scampi which they said was good, but very rich and although it had three very large shrimp on top of the dish it was speckled with little tiny shrimp and I mean tiny which I thought was odd. I think that with the size of the main shrimp they could do without the little tiny ones. I think that actually took away from the dish. Another friend of ours got the 1922 burger and she said it was good. Our waitress was excellent. I’m sorry I did not get her name, but she was very personable and explained my dish very well. She also gave my husband an excellent recommendation on wine. She was like a breath of fresh air as many places that we frequent have people who just act like they hate their job and she was the complete opposite. Our reservation was at 5:30pm and the noise level was good, but I have been in there before at a later hour and it has been moderate. It’s a pretty restaurant and clean. It’s nice that it’s within walking distance to the theatre.
