We stuck closely to locally sourced food items. My husband enjoyed a AAA striploin and I had lamb tartare and bison tenderloin. Food was absolutely wonderful. Service was impeccable.

We have been going to 1888 Chop since it opened and even the Banffshire years ago. We have always loved this restaurant but this was by far our best meal there. The flavors were world class. We had the king crab and lamb tartare appetizers so delicious. And the bison main was wonderful. The portions are much smaller than in the past but I prefer it that way so I can have room for dessert. Shout out to Nicholas our server. Thank you for a great evening.

The highlight of the evening was the delicate, attentive, and professional service provided by our server. He truly excelled in his role, and I feel for him given the circumstances. Unfortunately, the kitchen service was quite slow, and I had to request my dish. Additionally, when I asked for our coats, the wrong ones were brought to us. In average, the food was did not justify their price, and the dish I had chosen from the menu was unavailable. The atmosphere was very noisy, likely due to a celebration, and I believe the staff should ensure a minimum level of respect for all guests. Our server kindly deducted one dish from the bill after I mentioned it was not up to standard. Finally, a notice for the establishment managers: the address listed in the application does not lead to the correct location, but rather to a nearby residential area.

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at 1888 Chop House. The steaks were FANTASTIC - maybe the best we've had anywhere. Great wine list, sides and desserts too

Both my wife's plate and my own were completely wiped clean. I don't ever recall this happening before. The bison filet was cooked perfectly. The chocolate dessert was scrumptious.
