I had a wonderful time at 1888. Corey was my server and he was very professional and engaging with the menu. The manager stopped by multiple times during the evening and greatly improved our experience. I loved the lamb tartar. Definitely a perfect spot to celebrate!

One of the best steaks and dining experiences I have had in a long time. Great meat cut, cooked to perfection and the sommelier pared the meal with a perfect wine. Bit expensive but worth the cost

This is a splurge restaurant at a splurge hotel in a splurge destination town. Has to deliver. Bottom line: great service, intimate atmosphere, phenomenal views, simple but fine menu. You go hungry, but not *because* you're hungry. You go to say you went. That it doesn't disappoint makes this an easy 5 stars. And thanks for the whisky recommendation!

If it hadn’t have been for the food, we would have loved our experience at 1888. The service and the atmosphere were fantastic. To be fair, the food was well prepared, however it just wasn’t our style.

Long wait time to be checked in despite reservation, as were 3 other couples. Several staff passed by without acknowledging. Small portions for the price but quality and local ingredients, unique flavors. Unbeatable location and ambience.

The setting is relaxing, upscale, comfortable with an intimate setting inside and more open in the lounge area. Service was A+. Server knowledge was fantastic. Food was expertly prepared. Would like to see more wines by the glass (and less than $25 per).
