Wedge salad was very good otherwise food was very salty and only lukewarm. Desserts were ok. Wait staff was new and was unsure of herself but she was very nice. Lake Lawn is a beautiful resort and it was lovely to walk the grounds after dinner.

Server only showed up at the table the bare minimum of times. Think they probably could have used more servers, although they weren't very busy at the time. Had to wait 15 minutes to get a water refill. Received our bread after our entrees were finished. Server mixed up our check with the table next door, even though they had four people and we only had two. Food are very good, a bit pricey though.

Everything was delicious. The only thing that was disappointing was I left in the comments of the reservations we were celebrating a birthday and the server never mentioned it.

Almost 2 hours waiting on our main course, we got our check and left we were tired of waiting. Server was great but the kitchen must have been asleep at the wheel.

Excellent experience. Wonderful staff. Mom and Dad had their honeymoon at Lake Lawn Lodge 61 years ago. Will come back more often :)

We came to 1878 on the Lake for my daughter's bachelorette dinner. The property was stunning as well as the lake view. We took pictures inside and on the outside deck. The food and service were great. It was not very busy in the restaurant so it was very quiet for us. Unfortunately, after paying the bill a tornado warning went off on all of our phones and we were ushered to the lower level of the resort. I was very happy to see the property having a plan to keep their guests safe.

Food did not match the description on the menu. Friday night and the place was empty should have been a clue.

Loved the Lobster special on Tuesdays. Just delicious. My husband enjoyed the filet dinner. Beautiful view and service.

Food was excellent, service was horrible. We waited 10 min before a waitress even came over, then waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for food. We were apologized to as there was a wedding going on, but accommodations should be made if the kitchen is going to service 2 events. Even after the long wait, nothing was done for us or others in the form of compensation.
