Fantastic place with a ton of ambiance. A little crowded and noisy in the main dining area do to open space and high ceiling. Overall would definitely go back. Steaks are wonderful!!

I’ll start by saying the food was amazing! Our reservation was for 7:30 and we did not get our salad until 8:30. Server asked if we had our salad then told us it would be comped. Dinner finally came, again great. Ordered dessert to go. We were told it would be comped due to service. It was but our bill did not reflect comped salads. We were ready to leave so did not argue bill. Again, great food but service was not desirable.

I made a same day reservation for Friday night and was pleased to get a table for 6:45pm. My husband and I ordered the 2 different soups, the hanger steak and the pork chop as well as a glass of wine and a mixed drink. As I told the manager, my pork chop was probably better than the one I had recently had at Tyler Florence's restaurant in San Francisco. I will definitely say, though, that the cinnamon bread pudding was a big disappointment. It smelled terrific and the flavor was ok but I guess that I expected more height and it was flat and compact like a homemade brownie. All in all, I would be happy to go back but I would try to go upstairs to see what that is like. The main floor is rather cozy and when all the tables are seated, it is rather loud. It's not a place I would recommend for a first date as it can be difficult to talk.

This was an anniversary dinner. When server learned of this, we were brought two smaller glasses 🥂 of champagne and a small table sign perfect for inclusion in photo. Food excellent, especially Scottish Salmon, whipped potatoes, lobster bisque, cream Brule. Servers excellent. Jason was very attentive, pleasant ,and fun to talk with. Wine expert Craig was pleasant and knowledgeable. Second visit and not the last.

My husband and I went last night for our anniversary. Our server, Valerie, was excellent and proactively attended to our every need. She was personable, attentive, and very knowledgeable. Our drinks and food were excellent. I had a tiramisu espresso martini and my husband had an old fashion. For dinner, we opted for the filet and new york strip. Our sides were roasted carrots and green beans. Everything was SO good! The bread with honey butter was delicious and warm. For dessert, we had the bread pudding. We had hoped the bread pudding would be a bit larger to share! We will return the next time we are celebrating a special occasion!

This was the best dinner overall we have ever experienced in Richmond . I am from Richmond and am 73 years old. This is a huge testimonial!

It just wasn’t good. The server was inattentive. Food was very slow to the table. A $75+ steak came out overcooked. Creamed spinach smelled like dirty clothes. The server never asked how we liked the food despite a lot of it not being eaten. Overall it was a bad experience.
