This is a cool setting and beautiful building. The food is just a touch more refined than tavern fare. Large variety of options in a city with limited options.

Great experience. Sun was hitting the side of my face. A half pull down shade of some sort would do the trick. Will be dining again with you real soon. Love sitting outdoors.

My husband took me there for my birthday dinner. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was charming, and the server was pleasant and efficient. The pacing was just a little fast - we had drinks, appetizer, main course and desert and were done in just over an hour. This is a good place to have dinner before a show or other event. It was a little fast for us this night as this was a romantic dinner we wanted to linger over. But overall a wonderful experience, and we will be sure to go back.

the only nice place in dover delaware, such a great place to come to and have a drink and an amazing meal. everything is always spot on. we love Jackson house!!!

The atmosphere was great. The waitress was outstanding. Made great suggestions. We had a nightcap at the bar. The tender was very accommodating.

The setting is historic but fun. Every single dish was executed to the highest level. The ingredients were unique, fresh and made for a truly delicious meal. If I am back in Dover, this will be my first stop.

The food here is amazing. Wanted to order everything on the menu. The calamari was the best I’ve had in ages and the crab and shrimp gnocchi had the perfect amount of seasoning and heat. Highly recommend. Everything was aesthetically pleasing and plated perfectly. The decor and ambiance was beautiful. The staff were super friendly and the service was exemplary. Looking forward to returning and trying other dishes. Excited about Jackson House Middletown.

Met two of my friends there. It was their first visit and they thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the restaurant and the terrific food. I had one of their new signature cocktails and it was delicious. Have always had wonderful food at this restaurant.
