The Sunday Brunch was amazing. I loved the grits with Salmon the most and the bacon and the potatoes and the...everyTHING was great.

The food wasn’t fresh, Knats around the salad bar. The salmon had a fishy smell, the alleged prime rib was pot roast, the French toast were not freshly made along with potatoes and sausages. It was a sewage smell when walking past the kitchen. They give you 1.5 to eat we stayed 40 minutes. The shrimps used for your omelet were microscopic, which left a fishy taste. The overall food wasn’t the best. The adult beverages were good, overall everything is a 2

Birthday Dinner was very disappointing. We waited a ridiculously long time for a server and cocktails. Then were told they were out of olives so they couldn’t make my martini. Instead of bringing the other drinks they could make, we had to wait longer for a substitute cocktail and that was terrible. Our appetizers arrived before our cocktails so luckily we had water. Steaks we ordered were fine but none of the portions of the sides were large. Sides were fine but not noteworthy. We ordered a bottle of wine with dinner but it arrived when we were nearly finished (they were out of the 1st bottle we chose so we had to select another). Another misstep. Since it was a birthday celebration we looked at dessert menu only to learn they were out of the chocolate cake - that was what we planned to order- of course! We made it known throughout dinner it was a birthday celebration & we ordered a scoop of ice cream but no candle to recognize the event. So disappointing. We will not be returning. I do not recommend this expensive steakhouse.

1799 Prime steak and seafood was amazing!! The filet mignon was to die for. Never had a better tasting piece of meat. The server was amazing in making out anniversary amazing I would definitely go there again.

This was our 1st time dining here for my girlfriend birthday and All I cam say is it was Absolutely Aaaaamazing!!! Everything we ate tonight was deeeeelicious!!! Hands down some of the Best bites of food ever!

From the moment we stepped into 1799 Restaurant, it was clear we were in for an exceptional dining experience. The atmosphere was inviting, yet elegant, setting the perfect tone for the evening. We started with the appetizers, which were simply delightful — each dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, offering the perfect preview of what was to come. The drinks were masterfully mixed, striking just the right balance between creativity and classic flavors, making every sip a pleasure. But the true highlight of the night was the steak. Perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned to perfection — it was, without a doubt, one of the best steaks I've ever had. Every bite was a testament to the skill and care that goes into their kitchen. What truly made the evening stand out, however, was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and managed the needs of our party of four with ease and professionalism. Whether it was refilling drinks, answering questions about the menu, or simply ensuring we had everything we needed, they were flawless from start to finish. 1799 Restaurant exceeded all expectations. Whether you're looking for an intimate dinner or a place to impress guests, this is the spot. We can't wait to return!

This place never disappoints! The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. The staff is attentive and friendly. It rivals anyplace where I have dined in the DMV.
