First, kudos to the musician playing in the bar area. Awesome acoustic guitar player with outstanding voice tonight, October 2, 2024 Second, kudos to the great service and outstanding food preparation. Everything was delicious, pleasant and easy. We sat in a private table in the back, with an attractive mural on the wall above our booth seat. Therewas even a curtain to close off our area. Bravo, all around!

My son (7) and I (36) dined here for his first time. He ordered the chicken tenders and fries. He loved them. We ordered them with my appetizer and it came out perfect. He loved the breading and the seasoning on the fries. Which for a picky kid like him is great. I had the fried green tomato, green beans, and the pasta dish. Everything was wonderful. It came out warm. Tasted fresh and I loved it!

Love this place. Hidden gem in downtown Franklin. Food is very good and the ambience is welcoming. If you are a Bourbon or Rye fan, 1799 will not disappoint with their selections of Top Shelf classics or little known craft newcomers.

We had the wedge salads, very small, buttermilk dressing was spicy (weird)

Awesome meal and service. Riley(?) was our server. Did a great job. Polite and attentive. We had a booth separated from the main area by drawable curtains- great for privacy. I had halibut and my wife the wedge salad with shrimp and scallops- both excellent. Had a pre dinner cocktail at the adjacent bar in hotel lobby. Jackson prepared our drinks and was polite, smiled a lot and friendly. Overall a great dining experience.

Timmy has been our severs several times in the past, so we knew we were in good hands when we saw him come to the table. The food was wonderful, and the service was superb.

Food was very good. Waiter was attentive and thoughtful. We were seated right away. Valet was a little cumbersome. I suggest trying to park on the street instead. Note that the restaurant is right off the lobby of the hotel.
