From start to finish, 1799 impressed. We've dined at most of the higher end options in the area and always found something lacking. For whatever reason we had not made it to 1799 yet and now wish it had been the first on our list. Service was exceptional, food was prepared and presented to impress and the decor was cozy and befitting of a grand country estate. No doubt a great place to gather for drinks and a quick bite with friends, while also perfect to celebrate that special occasion. So happy we have finally found 1799!

I guess for the area I could see how this would be considered a fine establishment. The wait staff was short with us and not very attentive. The separate rooms created a quaint environment but being seated so closely to others made it loud and felt as if you were involved in their experience and conversation. Wouldn’t return, prices were high for the value of the meal but not high in the sense that you’re splurging.

We started out being seated in a room with noisy folks at the next table. Since we were celebrating our anniversary, we asked to move. The staff were so cheerful and helpful. Our server, Jessica, was amazing in every way. The food is excellent, and a great wine list,

Strawberry salad with burratta was excellent. We both got the sea bass with risotto, and it was also special. Well done again, Clifton.

We went for my mother’s Birthday. I was very disappointed for a Saturday night they ran out of salad before 630. The white wine was warm. I was thinking this would be a 5 star but it was a standard place for any Saturday night except for the price. Very disappointing.
